Today, we visited Qibao Ancient Town, the closest ancient town to downtown Shanghai. Qibao Ancient Town is a 4A tourist attraction in Shanghai. This indicates that Qibao has a history of over a thousand years, built during the Northern Song Dynasty and flourishing in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. With Qibao Old Street at its center, it is a historic and well-known ancient town in the southwestern suburbs of Shanghai and the only ancient town in Minhang District that still retains its old architectural style. The day before, we visited Zhujiajiao Ancient Town. Each town has its own unique charm, but personally, I prefer Zhujiajiao Ancient Town.

Our journey in Tottori isn't over yet. After visiting Yonago and Tottori, we headed to Kurayoshi. Upon arriving at Kurayoshi Station, we initially planned to take a bus to the hotel. However, we accidentally met the hotel driver and learned through a translation device that guests could use the shuttle bus. Luckily, there were seats available. We chose Misasa Royal Hotel for its reasonable price. There is a convenience store nearby and a bus stop, making it easy for us to visit the shopping street in Misasa Onsen. The hotel is very convenient. The hotel environment is spacious. There is a microwave in the lobby, and you can also rent yukata. The rooms are a mix of Japanese and Western styles, with tatami mats and Western-style beds. The mattresses are very comfortable, and we had a nice view of the scenery and flowing water from our room. Regarding the bath facilities, there is a private bath available for ¥3300. You need to contact the front desk, and the staff will personally take you there and remind you to lock the door. The private bath is a traditional wooden tub with a comfortable water temperature. The large public bath has a steam room and an open-air bath. The spring water is quite hot, but I was able to adapt. After soaking, you can enjoy a sauna. In the changing room, there are various skincare and hair care products. I couldn't resist buying some skincare products from the hotel shop because they contain Misasa Onsen spring water. On the grassy areas, many people were leisurely sitting, enjoying the beautiful moment, sharing laughter and stories. What particularly caught my attention was a group of people performing fire tricks. They skillfully wielded flames, spinning long rods in the air, with the firelight drawing beautiful arcs in the night sky, leaving the audience in awe. This performance not only added to the atmosphere but also made the evening even more memorable. Calton Hill is not only an ideal place to watch the sunset but also a vibrant and creative community that made me feel the charm and vitality of Edinburgh.
