Bourke Street Bakery is a well known bakery that started out in Surry hills. I have had stuff from there many times in the past. Most recently, I purchased a loaf of sourdough, a beef pie, and some cookies, and thoroughly enjoyed both the experience and the quality of the products. I love the Beef Pie's crispy buttery puff pastry and sausage roll with a flavour of pork and fennel could be the most delicious rolls I've ever had! The pastry is flakey and beautifully crisp, and the meat is really excellent. The lemon tart tasted good in the end, it's just fresh. The ginger creme brulee tart is so wonderful that it's not a good idea to share cause it’s just so great to have another one. The vibe and service of this place is brilliant. The second time we went there we got to enjoy some live music too. There is so much to like about this place beyond it's food and drink. For dinners it would be wise to make a reservation. They do get full then. I have also visited them during noons when they were empty. I have many favourite dishes here but I absolutely recommend that everyone gets the salmon steak dish. It was one of the best and most complete dishes I’ve ever had! I ordered it the first night and then my friend and I both ordered it the second time we went. The sauce is so cheesy and creamy and the salmon is cooked perfectly, not too dry, but not undercooked. Dining at Jade Seafood Restaurant in Desaru was a truly beautiful seaside experience. The view of the ocean created a serene and relaxing atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a memorable meal. The food did not disappoint! We tried the lobster gravy, and it was juicy and tender, with flavors that were absolutely delightful. The pepper crab was a standout—the pepper sauce was bold and aromatic, complementing the perfectly cooked crab meat. Every bite was packed with flavor and left us wanting more. This is definitely a place I’ll be returning to, and I can’t wait to bring friends along to explore more of their menu.
