Manila, Philipine
#100waysoftravel #manila #philipines
Manila is a metropolitan area with a population of over 10 million. The metropolis is called Metro Manila, but is often simply called Manila by foreigners and non-residents, and consists of 17 cities and municipalities. This article is about the city; see Metro Manila for the metropolitan area.
It is the second most populous city in the Philippines after Quezon City, the former capital of the Philippines.
Manila and its surrounding areas were unified as Metro Manila to facilitate the management of this super-growth area. Today, the city and its metropolis thrive as cultural and economic centers. But the city also suffers from problems of overpopulation, traffic congestion, and pollution.
Wandering in Nagsasa Cove, Zambales
We went to Nagsasa Cove, Zambales last December 2023 with my workmates and we had the most wonderful experience. From our boat ride going there, we were in awe of the amazing view especially when we have arrived there. This place is the best place if you are looking for a place for tranquility and relaxation as it is very quiet and all you have to do is wander the amazing view. We will definitely go back here and hoping to meet other tourists. #zambalesphilippines #nagsasa #relax #tranquility #wander #philipines
Fort Santiago, Manila
#manilatrip
Fort Santiago was built in 1571 by the Spanish as a citadel for Manila. It was badly damaged during World War II. Since 1953 it has been reconstructed, and ongoing work continues. It is within the old historical part of Manila known as the Intramuros.
There is a lot of interest within the fort, both historically, and shops selling all sorts of food and souvenirs. There is an entry charge. When we visited it was 75 pesos for adults, but as seniors (even not locals) we got in for 50 pesos each.

National Museum of Natural History, Manila
#manilatrip
This museum is part of the National Museum Complex, which also houses the National Museum of Fine Arts and the National Museum of Anthropology. The museum is free of charge, but leave your backpack in storage (also free).
The museum is a repository of species that can be found in the Philippines, but there are plenty of them. In every floor and section of the museum, you’ll find different kinds of ecosystems where those species thrive. There was also a life-size model of Lolong, probably the world’s largest saltwater crocodile that has ever lived or captured.

The Spiritual Legacy of Baguio Cathedral
The Baguio Cathedral, also known as Our Lady of the Atonement Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in the city of Baguio in the Philippines. It is the seat of the Diocese of Baguio and one of the major churches in the area. The present church building was built in the 1950s and is an example of colonial American architecture. The façade features two towers and a central dome above the main entrance, with Spanish colonial-style ornamentation. Coconut Beach, pigs roam this Philippines gem 🐖🏖️
#myhiddengems
Hidden in the beautiful island of Palawan, Philippines, is Coconut Beach.
After a scooter ride in Puerto Princesa, you will find this hidden gem. Swooping palm trees cover the beach and golden sand covers this beautiful island. You can swim in the crystal clear, warm water, with just a few people in sight.
What makes this place unique is the small community that live here, with a family of pigs that call this place their home. You will find the pigs in the water and is reminiscent of the instagram worthy countries that have similar surroundings.
It’s a gorgeous, off the beaten track gem that I can’t recommend enough.
Go to the Philippines, then take another flight to Palawan and visit this perfect place, you won’t regret it.#palawan #philipines #beaches #Pigsonbeach #hiddengem

Manila by the River.
We booked a hotel few train stops away from Intramuros. It was sunny and hot but the view inside the place was gorgeous. Also, there was not much of tourist at that time so we could get pictures of the entire place as much as we can. Overall, it was okay and accessible to the public. Will surely be back again.#intramuros #manila #philipines

The crab meal costs only 10$ for 4 big pcs already. Sinigang fish soup for 4$, and free view of the beach. Cozy area!
The hotel we stayed in was in good location with friendly andd helpful staffs. Vicinity was pretty good, we love that there were bar and restaurants right outside and you dont have to grab delivery or go far to have your meals (only image we took). Also closeby to Ayala Mall and city centre. We didnt get to take exact photo of the hotel as we only stayed overnight and travel to the next destination. We will surely come back again. #WhenInCebu #Philipines
