A trip to see Mount Fuji 🗻

We took a bus from Shinjuku bus terminal to Kawaguchiko at around 8.30am. The bus took about 2.5hr and we reached there at around 11am. From there, we took a vintage omni bus to get to Oishi Park. Saw Mount Fuji at the Park and took a few photos. After that we head to a cafe and got a great view of Mount Fuji by the window while enjoying our ice cream. We also walked over to the famous Lawson to have a view of Mount Fuji as the backdrop. #japantrip #mountfuji

Really blessed to have sunny day for our Mount Fuji Tour and see the amazing Mount Fuji from different angles and places. Rushing day tour but definitely worth it as able to see Mount Fuji from Hikari Timepiece store, Arakurayama Sengen Park and Lake Kawaguchiko. Easily clocked 15K steps a day during my Tokyo trip! A luxurious Glamping in the dark Kawaguchiko

While in Kawaguchiko, you need to stay in the luxurious glamping villa called Hanz Villa. It comes with several villas as well as tent glamping in the forest with high trees, open areas and open fire cooking as well. A once in a lifetime experience. The tent are good for two persons and a separate shower and washroom is provided next to the tent. A cooking area with open fire is also available. There is also a restaurant, Onsen and a bar within the area. Sweet Escape to Mt. Fuji Recommendation 🍁🗻

Mount Fuji has been one of the most favorite places to visit in Japan. I had my #solotravel this early November with booking a- 1 Day tour from Tokyo Station pick up. I choose to pick a tour because Mt. Fuji is located quite far from Tokyo & to go from one place to other places it’s quite difficult with public transportation. 🌵Tips: Check the weather forecast before you plan to go in order to grab the great scenery! Also, avoid weekend if you can because it’s really jammed on on the way. RECOMMENDED PLACES that I went to mesmerize the beauty of Mt. Fuji from different angles: 📍Arakuyama Sengen Park We need to climb up the stairs around 10-15 minutes to reach the place with temple view. So, don’t wear heels! It’s super worth it to go here. There are some snacks bar & udon restaurants for our hungry stomach. 📍Fuji Kawaguchiko (Lake Kawaguchiko) From the sideview of lake, we can see Mt. Fuji clearly. You can have a pleasant time to walk here with beautiful landscape. 📍Momiji Corridor Lake Kawaguchi It’s a walkable distance from Lake Kawaguchi. There are maple trees along the way. There are some souvenir shops as well. There are cafes, restaurants, convenience stores for buying drinks & foods. It’s really a pleasant time to visit Mt. My friend and I went with a tour, which we bought off TRIP for around £70 for the day. It was a great experience and the tour bus took us to several locations, including a tea ceremony. We stopped of at lakes and had time to walk around the highest point you can reach of Mount Fuji by car. There were lots of tours to hike up the mountain, which would take multiple hours, however we did no do this this time. The weather was cloudy standing on Mount Fuji, and quite cold, however it was an enjoyable day. Located near Mount Fuji is a large shopping mall, which we stopped at before heading back to the train station at the beginning of the tour. “THE” Onsen Ryokan you must visit in your lifetime

The room comes with a beautiful scenery with a private in-room onsen. We booked ourselves a family room throughout the stay and it was the best choice in my opinion. This Ryokan has a lot more to offer than just the room - it comes with the top notch service, attention to detail and.. most importantly a nightly in-room (10 course I think) kaiseki meal, making sure we are well fed and stay nutritious throughout the stay!! the main purpose to Japan was to climb Mount Fuji. we started by braving the new adventure through Yoshida Trail from Subaru Line 5th Station (2305m) up to Gansomuro 8th Station (3250m) before heading for summit. It was already dark when we reached Gansomuro because we made a compulsory camera & Foursquare stop at every 8 hut. anyway, the ascent to #fujisan wouldn't be such a headache if you utilize all 12 huts along d way! i also took a break at Taishi-kan (3100m) while having d mandatory picture session, toilet & wifi fix! atleast i'm pretty sure all 7 of us did!that what took us around 5 and a half hour to reach Gansomuro (3250m) while other hikers usually would reach there in 4 hours we reached the summit and witnessed the beautiful sunrise. although it was quite packed with other hikers in top of the mountain #hiking #mountfuji #fujisan #japan

Tips & Sight around Mt. Fuji Station

How to get there from Tokyo: What: JR express bus from Tokyo Station (fastest route) Price: ¥1850/per pax From Tokyo we bought a one-way bus ticket to Mt. Fuji Station. The ride too about 2 hours but honestly it felt like 40 minutes! I bought some Onigiri and drinks for the ride which helped kept me full for the journey. The bus was comfortable, came with a overhead baggae compartment and larger luggage can be stored under the bus "boot". The first stop was at Fuji Q themed park. I was amazed at the size of the roller coaster! We decided to skip this this time as we reckon it'll be crowded due to the Japanese Golden Week. The next stop was ours - Mr. Fuji Station. Here's a list of things you can do around the station by foot: 1. If you love collecting stuff, you can head to thr waiting area near the train station to collect a Mt. Fuji Eki stamp! 2. If you head right of the station, down to the main road leading up to Mt. Fuji. You'll first stumble upon a local convenience store. Address: マルシゲ総合食品 株式会社 (Marushige) 2 Chome-11-5 Kamiyoshida, Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi 403-0005, Japan This store sells fresh fruits and vegetables at a very cheap price! We grabbed ourself a Fuji Apple and some strawberries for only ¥500! 3. Walking further down you'll spot a family mart and a department store with Mt. Fuji in the background. Address: Japan, 〒403-0005 Yamanashi, Fujiyoshida, Kamiyoshida, 5 Chome, ９番８号 After all the photos along this road we settled down for some cold drinks and dessert, and also decided to purchase some hair dye from the department store because it was so cheap! Tips: There's plenty of things to see and eat around the area but I recommend heading outside of the station to save a couple bucks from tourist trap! #japan #mountfuji

Best view of Mt. Fuji without the tourist

There's so many resources out there sharing the best spot to view Mount Fuji and I must say this is the best one yet! Yamanaka is home to one of the five lakes surrounding Mt. Fuji. I decided to give this place a try as I prefer less touristy spots. This lake is 20-40mins bus ride from Mt Fuji station (I recommend checking the bus timetable as the frequency is quite limited). There are 2 main things you can do there: 1. Rent a bicycle 2. Rent a swan boat Both will provide you a stunning view of Mt. Fuji but the bicycle will give you speed to travel around Yamanaka - best part is there's already bicycle pathways around the place. We rented a bicycle for ¥700/hour and cycled 10 minutes up to Yamanakako Hana no miyako Kouen(Flower Park). We followed the bicycle path along the right side of Katsura river. The enterance fee was ¥600/pax and it was so worth it! Hana no miyako Kouen is a 300,000 square meters of flower field with a stunning view of Mt. Fuji as your backdrop. We went in May which the last month to enjoy the ice cap on the mountain! The unique thing about this park is the different type of flowers that is planted during each season. There is also a Japanese-style garden, lava tree type basement experience zone, waterfall of Myojin, and a water playground for kids! I recommend bringing a picnic mat and some snacks from the grocery store (Ogino) nearby to have a lovely and zen afternoon lunch/tea. Overall a great place to visit and chill with your friends and loved ones. #japan #mountfuji

Best Onsen at Yamanakako

Booked 3 stays in my current Japan trip and this was my second accommodation. Location: Sun Plaza Hotel Fuji Yamanakako, 1445-1 Yamanaka, Yamanakako, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi 401-0501 Location: 20-30 minutes bus ride from Mt. Fuji station. This small town was located beside one of the 5 lakes around Mt. Fuji. This area was more popular with local tourist and tour groups from China. We notice people only frequent here in the morning and by evening the whole places becomes a ghost town. Also to add the fact that we were here during the Japan Golden week, many of the food stores were closed so we had to settle for convinient store food. There is a bicycle store outside the hotel that you can rent for ¥700/hr, or down the road at ¥2000/half day. Cycle to the Flower garden just 10minutes away to enjoy a beautiful view of flower field and mt. fuji in the background. Price and amenities The room was equipped with basic goodies - toiletries, bidet and drinking water, Yukata, slippers and comb. The room was huge but very weird design and used of space. Other that the toolet bowl, the rest of the room was outdated and old. The bed was decently soft and pillow was solid hard. The TV turns on automatically at 6am everyday so we didn't get a goodnight sleep throughout the stay. The saving grace was the public bath! For the female onsen, we had collagen skin peel and pearl moisturiser that left my skin super soft! I was breaking out but after my visit to the onsen, my skin feels great! Check in and check out was easy and fast and they staffs were very friendly and helpful. Overall a decent stay! Definitely give this place a try if you're visiting Yamanakako for the first time, but do avoid any Japanese holiday period. #Yamanakako #mountfuji #japan

How beautiful. How stunning. First thing that come to my mind when i hear Japan is Mount Fuji. I have seen many pictures of fuji, in different season. It is the most calm, beautiful mountain. Most of the mountains will give the impression of power, unreachable, mysterius, challenging yet astounding. But Fuji is just so beautiful. I keep smiling and happy to be able to sit there and look at it with my own eyes. Interact with it. Speak with it in my mind. It was winter and that made the scenery more beautiful. We visited one of the coffee shop nearby as we were freezing. And i sat by the window with the view of the Fuji. With my flat white coffee and tasty croissant, i have spent one of the best moment in my entire life. I cant stop to felt really lucky and be thankful. If you go to Japan. This is a must visit place. OMG you should not skip it. I would say you need at least 2 days to be able to explore all angles. You can buy the ticket for a day pass or 2 days pass directly in the Fuji tourist information centre. Do not worry about the food, plenty of option in foodcourt and restorant nearby. We made a day trip to Hakone hoping to get a glimpse of the famous Mount Fuji. It wasnt our lucky day as it was cloudy. Nonetheless it was a amazing day there. We queued at the famous Hakone shrine to take photos. Had soft serve ice cream (it was everywhere). And also went on a relaxing boat trip. If you want a bird's eye view of the place and maybe a better chance of seeing Mount Fuji, you can also go on the Hakone Komagatake Ropeway. You can always enjoy the view and take many photos if Mount Fuji remains elusive. We took the shinkansen from Tokyo to Hakone. Japan travel is not complete for me without seeing this iconic and famous and historical Mount Fuji, the 7th highest peak of an island on earth. So we try our best to look for the best place to view it and we have our road trip from Tokyo by train mor than an hour and 30-45 mins by bus going to Lake Kawaguchico, then we ride a cable car going up to the mountain tru' Kawaguchico Ropeway, as you up, you can view almost the Lake kawaguchi and other part of the area, but most, you can view the Mt. Fuji on top of the mountain. Entrance fee is required as you pay before you ride the cable car. Trivia: The Tenjō-Yama Park Mt. Kachi Kachi Ropeway, officially the Lake Kawaguchi Mt. Tenjō Ropeway, is a Japanese aerial lift line in Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi, operated by Fuji Kyuko. I went to japan last month with family. It was such a memorable trip for me because we got to celebrate the new year together. if you do not have any idea of where to go for this winter get away trip, let me recommend you this country, Japan. Japan is known as the most clean and safe country. traveling there, you don’t have to worry about what to eat or where to visit or maybe how can we get to the place we want to. everything is really easy, the public transportations, the foods are all perfect. In these pictures below, the first one was at the historical place which have a lot of beautiful castles. the second picture was at the rainbow bridge near the liberty statue, the view at night time was stunning. the third one was taken in the garden in front of the palace. the forth and the fifth pictures was at the Tokyo towel, I love the fact that I could see the whole city with a lot of tall buildings. Last but not least, the last picture was taken at Mount. Fuji, it was about minus 5 degree, the view was indescribable, it was naturally stunning and breathtaking.
