🕛Afternoon Adventure: Dalmaji Hill & Haewol Coastal Line
Dalmaji Hill:
🏞️A scenic mountain road offering stunning views of the ocean. I recommend renting an electric bike, as climbing the hill with a regular bike can be challenging.
🚴From Dalmaji Hill, the road leads to Haeundae Blueline Park – Cheongsapo Station, a picturesque spot popular with photographers.
From there, you can either take the Blue Line Train or walk along the Haewol Coastal Line.
🚶I chose to walk and stopped by the Haewol Observation Deck—an excellent photo spot.
The coastal line ends at Mipo Station, another scenic location loved by photographers.
🍚Dinner:
I had a business dinner, so I’m skipping this part, but there are plenty of good options in Haeundae!
- Day 3: Checkout & Visit Gwangalli
🌅Morning Activity:
Visited Gwangalli Beach, an iconic Busan destination.
Known for its beautiful view of the Diamond Bridge.
☕️Coffee Break:
Stopped by Cong Coffee (📍Address: 60 Gwangan-ro 61beon-gil, Suyeong-gu, Busan), a Vietnamese-style café.
Vietnamese coffee is famous for its rich and unique flavor—worth trying if you haven’t already.
Enjoyed a cup while soaking in the breathtaking view of Gwangalli Beach and the bridge.
🔚Final Thoughts:
A perfect end to a memorable Busan trip. The combination of great coffee, a stunning beach, and scenic views left me with unforgettable memories

good coffee
This was a nice looking cafe with seating options, tasty coffee, and a small record store with a considerably good selection! They do have WiFi, but they do not allow laptops, so it isn't a very good place to get work done.
The cappuccino was tasty, but I did not like the cinnamon roll. For the price it was quite small and the pastry was dry. While the cafe was nice, the seating was not comfortable making it difficult to relax. FYI, they only accept card, no cash.

Winter Vibes at Fuglen Seoul: A Cozy Escape with Scandinavian Flair
Fuglen Seoul is a charming and stylish café that offers a unique blend of Scandinavian design and Korean café culture. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a minimalist yet warm aesthetic that makes it a great spot to relax or work. The coffee is expertly brewed, with a variety of blends and expertly crafted espresso drinks that cater to a wide range of tastes.
The menu is small but thoughtful, with options that pair well with their coffee offerings. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall positive experience. However, it can get a bit crowded during peak hours, so finding a seat might be a challenge at times.
Overall, Fuglen Seoul is a great place for coffee lovers and those who appreciate good design, but it might not be the best choice if you're looking for a quiet, secluded spot.

A White Wonderland: N Seoul Tower in the Snow
On November 26, 2024, N Seoul Tower was transformed into a magical winter wonderland after the first heavy snowfall of the season. The weather was crisp and refreshing, with clear skies and the entire area from the base to the peak was blanketed in a thick layer of snow, creating a serene, almost ethereal atmosphere that felt far removed from the usual city bustle.
The views from the tower were more spectacular than ever, with the snow adding a layer of tranquility to the panoramic sight of Seoul. The white-covered trees and snow-capped landscape created a striking contrast against the city’s skyline, making it feel like stepping into a living postcard.

Our Amazing Jeju Trip - Feeling Like Real Koreans!
We just had the best time in Jeju, South Korea! We wanted to feel the local Korean culture, so we chose to stay at a traditional Korean house, which was booked through Trip.com. This place was incredible. The house had old-style Korean rooms with ondol (heated floors) and traditional sliding doors. Every little detail made us feel like real Koreans! We woke up in the morning to a calm, quiet setting, and it was perfect for relaxing and photos for our hanbok photos background.
We decided to rent a car so we could explore the island on our own. Driving was easy and comfortable, and we enjoyed the freedom to go anywhere we wanted. We went to many beautiful attractions and enjoy activities in Jeju. We took lots of photos and enjoyed the beautiful views. Driving along the coast, we stopped often just to enjoy the scenery while coffee.
Jeju is also famous for its waterfalls, so of course, we had to visit them! Cheonjeyon Waterfall was one of our favorites. It has three levels, each with its own magical look. We loved the cool, green surroundings, and we snapped so many photos. It felt refreshing to be surrounded by nature, and the sound of the water was relaxing.
We also visited many other amazing places in Jeju. From the beautiful coastlines to cozy cafes, and even a tangerine farm, every place felt special. Jeju is full of unique attractions that make it unforgettable.

Secret insta-worthy place in downtown Seoul
Wanna know where to go for pictures in Seoul and avoid crowds? Well, one of such insta-worthy hidden spots borders with crowded Bukchon hanok village - Samcheon-dong Street more chilled yet extremely beautiful and cute, and full of traditional Korean houses.
This street provides lots of photo opportunities and filled with restaurants and coffee shops.
It is a much more relaxed stroll than in Hanok village, with much less people. Area is vivid and green and a perfect spot to buy some souvenirs and visit flagship stores of K-beauty brands.

Discovering traditional hanok village with no crowds around
My favorite hanok village in Seoul is Namsangol hanok village. It is extremely easy to reach and it is perfectly located nearby Namsan tower and Myeongdong district.
The story of the village that original old traditional buildings were moved to this spot to showcase Korean history and traditional architecture. So, they are actually really old!
And it isn't a residential area, nobody lives there, so you wont feel bad about disturbing the locals.
Tip: place is closed on Mondays
One more tip: admission is free!

Park with a view!!!
Eungbongsan mountain park is a hidden gem by Han river. Barely any people are there, so you fan have stunning viewpoints just for yourself!
There is a pavilion in a traditional style and a few benches to rest when you make it to the top by climbing lots and lots of stairs.
Park overlooks Han river and views are just great!!!
Tip: there isn't much shade, so better go on chilly day or bring water and a gat!
One more tip: maps apps confuse trails in this park, so dont trust those!

Secret temple on a cliff
Gwanaksan mountain hike isnt just about nature and view to Seoul.
One of the gems of this area is Yeonjudae temple - tiny Buddhist temple at the cliff.
The building itself is super picturesque from afar and if you get inside - it's lots of traditional paper lanterns and a small prayer room.
The temple is right next to the summit, one of the trails passes right by it, but you may need to walk around a bit if you come from another side trail like I did.
Serene, tranquil spot to enjoy after an hours of hiking.

🇰🇷 Best Abalone Restaurant on Jeju Island
One of the best meals we had on Jeju Island was at Myeongjin Jeonbok Abalone Restaurant, located on the northeastern coast near Seongsan Ilchulbong. Known for its exquisite abalone dishes made with fresh, locally sourced abalone, the restaurant offers a menu of just four main dishes: abalone sizzling stone pot rice (dolsot bap), abalone rice porridge, grilled abalone, and sliced raw abalone. We enjoyed each dish, as the abalone was tender and flavorful.

🇰🇷 Yongmeori Coast 📍Jeju Island
Yongmeori Coast, located on Jeju Island’s southwest coast, is a stunning natural attraction known for its dramatic landscapes and unique rock formations. The name "Yongmeori" means "Dragon Head," as the coastal cliffs are said to resemble a dragon’s head dipping into the sea. Visitors can explore a coastal trail that leads to the edge of the cliffs, offering panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding landscapes. A small entrance fee is required. Unfortunately, the trail was closed on the day of our visit due to rough weather, but we were still able to get a glimpse of the cliffs near the entrance.
