#japantrip This is definitely an interesting spot to visit, as it's iconic to Tokyo. Unfortunately, the garden is closed on Mondays and Fridays, so we weren't able to experience it. The only available option was a guided tour, and it was quite crowded. The English-speaking group, in particular, was large for just one guide, which made it hard to hear much of the information. I would highly recommend downloading the app to get a better audio experience. While the guide was friendly, I felt that the level of detail in the explanations could have been more in-depth when I was able to hear them. Despite this, it's still worth a visit for its historic charm!

I arrived at 10:00 on a weekday, and as expected for such a popular spot, there were already about five people waiting. One of the great features is the ability to choose your noodle portion—150g or 200g. The soup’s thickness, garlic, vegetable portions, and meat flavors were all perfectly balanced. The menu is simple and straightforward, making it easy to navigate. The noodles were wonderfully chewy and satisfying. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to have more vegetables in the mini version. Still, everything was so delicious that I’ll definitely be back for more!

Both were tender, flavorful, and surprisingly fatty in the best way. The slightly pickled side salad provided a refreshing balance to the richness. The staff were friendly and attentive, and they had an English menu available, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, it was a delightful meal that I’d highly recommend if you’re in the area.
