🏰 Tokyo Disney Sea Fantasy Springs Guide🏰 I recently visited the new Fantasy Springs area at Tokyo DisneySea! I lined up at 5:00 AM and entered the park at 8:45 AM without Happy Entry. Here’s my personal strategy based on my experience to help you make the most of your visit to Fantasy Springs. 🎯 Priority 1: Standby Pass/DPA If you only have a regular park ticket, you will need either a Standby Pass or Disney Premier Access (DPA)(¥2,000 per person) to enter Fantasy Springs and enjoy the attractions. The key to a successful day is acquiring these passes efficiently. My suggested Standby Pass priorities: 1. Frozen Journey (Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey) This is by far the most popular ride. The DPA sold out around 9:00 AM, so make sure to secure this first! 2. Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival We secured a Standby Pass for 9:20-10:20. Getting an early slot allows you to access the area in the morning. You don’t necessarily need DPA for this ride. 3. Peter Pan’s Neverland Adventure Following this order will help you efficiently visit all the attractions. Although Peter Pan can sometimes be available through cancellation waits, it’s better to grab a pass early if it’s a must-ride for you. ⚠️ Warning:If you get motion sickness, come prepared! This 4D ride can make some people feel queasy. ⚠️4. Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggy This ride is harder to get through cancellation waits, so grab the Standby Pass as soon as possible if it’s on your must-ride list. If you secure Tinker Bell first, you might be able to ride all four attractions. Note that Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggy does not offer DPA, so you’ll need a Standby Pass. 🍽️ Priority 2: Mobile Ordering is a Must! To dine in the Fantasy Springs area, mobile ordering is required. However, even if you place a mobile order, you will not be able to enter the area without a park ticket plus either a DPA or Standby Pass for Fantasy Springs. Secure your passes first, then place your order to ensure a smooth dining experience. 🔑 Key Tips: 1. Arrive early! We lined up at 5:00 AM, and it paid off. If you plan to use DPA, securing it early is crucial. 2. Use cancellation waits Frozen, Rapunzel, and Peter Pan may become available through cancellation waits. Several opportunities popped up for us, so keep an eye on the app. We managed to ride Frozen, Rapunzel, and Peter Pan this way! 📋 Conclusion: To fully enjoy Fantasy Springs, arriving early, efficiently managing Standby Passes and DPA, and preparing your mobile orders are key strategies! Even if the cost of DPA seems too high, especially for students, using cancellation waits can help you experience all the attractions. Before my visit to Japan, I’d heard so many positive reviews of Tokyo Disneysea and it definitely lived up to it’s expectation! 🌋 Upon entering the park, there is a giant volcano infront of you. This actually has a rollercoaster inside, Journey to the Center of the Earth. This is unique to Disneysea and it was so exciting! 🧜🏻 Mermaid Lagoon is absolutely beautifully designed from the outside, a perfect spot to take photos. But inside is even more wondrous. It’s like going under the sea and experiencing the magic! There are smaller rides inside here, more family friendly. 🧸 Over on the American Waterfront area, you can find Toy Story Mania and Tower of Terror. These are probably some of my favourite Disney rides and I loved experiencing them in Tokyo! There is even a different story in Tower of Terror so it’s not exactly the same as the other parks. 🧞In the Arabian Coast you can find everything Aladdin themed. The double decker carousel was so cool and the Magic Lamp Theater has a show about the Genie and his magic! Welcome to Tokyo DisneySea! This fantasy theme park in Tokyo Disney Resort is unique to Japan! It is one of my most recommended tours and activities in this country. Though I didn't get very good photos, I would say this was the best Disney park yet. Disney Resort parks are right around the bay from Tokyo, easily accessible from Tokyo Station and other major stations. The parks are also directly accessible from the airport by bus. Tokyo Disneyland, DisneySea, and Ikspiari are located just a few minutes’ walk from JR Maihama Station on the Keiyo Line. The Keiyo Line's starting point is Tokyo Station. You can also access the parks directly from Tokyo Station by bus. You should go there early when it opens at 9, so you can enjoy most of the entertainment they have. You have to wait in line for every ride. It closes at 9pm. Our activities: 1. Tower of Terror Navigate the tower and feel the creepy ambience surrounding the area. Don't get too relaxed while inside the elevator because that’s where the real thrill begins. Endure the stimulating elevator adventure that is loaded with high-speed drops. While keeping up with the intense falls, you will be bombarded with a lot of frightening elements. 2. Aquatopia This is like a bumper car but with a twist. Instead of coursing a certain road, you are just circling around the pool. And since you are not pressured to do anything, you simply go with the flow. Kill time as the twirling watercraft revolves in any direction. 3. DisneySea Transit Steamer Line If you want to see more of the beauty of Tokyo DisneySea, then ride on the Transit Steamer Line. This 49-seater steamer has three docks. These are located at the American Waterfront, Mediterranean Harbor, and Lost River Delta. And conveniently, you can choose your preferred starting point. 4. The Magic Lamp Theater The Magic Lamp Theater is a 3-D attraction. It is based on the 1992 Disney film Aladdin and stars the Genie. I went to Tokyo Disneysea in end October for their Halloween Trick or Trick event.. Why do I choose Disneysea over Disneyland? Well, cos of this - they had a special that adults were also allowed to dress up as characters or princesses for Halloween! So I thought ... why not? I've known that Japanese love their disney resorts alot and with this exception of being able to dress up, it would definitely be a feat. Plus yes everyone knows that Disney always go big on their decors... True to behold, it was truly a magnificent crowd at its entrance at 9am. I could totally feel the energy of the Disney crews as they tried to hype the crowd up with the dance. Now tha Disneysea Halloween event is over. Fret not, there is still the Tokyo Disney 40th Anniversary themed event and parade ongoing which will equally keep you in awe as well. Especially the show at 730pm at Mediterranean Harbour. Please please please by all means and ways make it there by 6.30pm -7pm to have a good seating/ standing spot. The charades of boats, the lightshow projected and the characters --- only 1 word : MAGNIFIQUE IT IS DEFINITELY WELL WORTH SPENDING 30MINS of your time watching it.
