#timetotravel As a cat lover, I was elated to find out that Taipei has its very own Cat Village. The Houtong Cat Village is located in the Ruifang district, which is a 15 mins drive away from Jioufen. When we arrived, I was initially disappointed as there were no cats greeting me at the entrance. However, as we climbed the stairs, we found many cats of different breeds and they were all very friendly and cute. Fun Fact: Houtong was initially a small mining town and it was only in 2008, a group of cat lovers volunteered to offer the abandoned cats in Houtong a better life and posted these cats online, thus attracting a huge response from cat lovers globally and now it has become a center for cat lovers. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit here and I am also extremely happy that the cats were very well taken care of here as well. I will definitely visit again in the future #境外遊 #taiwan #taipei #cat

This is a very special Buddhist temple with all sizes of lucky cat that you can find. The displays of lucky cats ornament is so huge and magnificent. The temple is free to enter. It is located in the Gotokuji district in Tokyo and the journey from city centre takes about 50 mins. Once you arrived at the Gotokuji Station, you will have to walk around 12 mins to arrive. There are small direction signs to lead you there. Once you entered, you will be amazed by the ambience and the calmness of the temple and the park surrounding the temple is so stress free! You will be welcomed with giant trees and then leading the cats display. You can also purchase the different sizes of the cats, write you own good luck wordings and display them in the temple on your own or alternative bring it home. If you do decide to stay here, you will notice that she goes over the extra mile to help you with anything you need. She was planning on extending the hotel and she had started the building extension, however, as her business has started going down, she has put that on stop. After speaking with her, she mentioned that there was another airport in Athens which they have closed down, and the majority of the tourists were landing there and coming to the island 🏝️. After years of supporting this original creator, I finally had the chance to visit the Capoo House in Taiwan! The blue caterpillar cat has accompanied me over the years as stickers and comics, and I just love the big round nose of the yellow doggo :) Although Capoo House is located in a neighborhood, it is easily reachable by bus and a short walk. This place sells tons of character related items like notebooks, keychains, cutlery, postcards, plushies, and clothes. I bought the postcard and the shop even has designed stamps for souvenir! The shop has a special zone for photos too! It is arranged with lots of character stuffed toys. There's also a themed cafe nearby which sells drinks and hotcakes.
