The Jingpo Village was another highlight. The architecture, with its sturdy bamboo and wood designs, felt both rustic and elegant. Inside, I saw everyday items like tools and pots that gave me a glimpse of life in their community.
One of my favorite parts? The performances! Watching dancers in colorful traditional costumes twirling to rhythmic music was mesmerizing. The energy of their movements and the pride in their heritage were truly inspiring. I even got to try on some of the costumes – a fun way to connect with the culture!

One of the best viewpoints of Death Valley
Dante's view is one of my favorite viewpoints in the Death Valley. It’s high up on a mountain where you can see the whole valley below. It is good to visit before or after Badwater Basin cause these two are pretty close to each other. The drive up is a bit curvy, but once you get there, the view is incredible.
The view is absolutely stunning. And during the winter, you can see some snow on the peaks at the horizon.
Tip: Go early or late in the day to avoid the heat and catch the best light.
One more tip: there is a little path that leads from the parking lot pretty far along the hilltop. It's really worth to walk for a few minutes before you choose the best spot - the more you walk the better the views become.

Good soup in My An when you're lazy to get fancy
I love local tiny spots that cater just a few options and rarely see any tourists. I found this place in My An, Danang - thanks to my local friend.
Đặc Sản Mì Quảng has just a few options, but then has something for everyone - soup with meat, shrimp, fish, eggs. The place is very local and very quiet. And the food is very delicious!
This is my favorite place in Danang for when I don't feel like going out and just want to grab something delicious and quick.

Probably the best homemade ice cream in Hoi An
This tiny place is an absolute gem! There is just a couple of tables, and the owner - a sweet lady who was sort of shy, but so so pleasant!
Ice cream was rich and delicious, it's really felt like they use fresh fruits and not just artificial flavoring. Plus, Delete brought us some local drink - like a cold, herbal tea that I'm not sure what it was, but it was nice to wash away the witness of ice cream before we left.

Crazy burial rites at Lake Toba
The burial practices around Lake Toba are a bit mind-blowing. The Batak people have unique rites and family tomb has a few levels.
When someone new in the family dies, their body is placed on the lowest level, while older family members are moved up to higher levels.
On the top level, only bones are kept, piled together. And what's interesting - they are Christians.
It’s a cultural experience that’s both eerie and beautiful, making you think about life, death, and family in a new way.
One more interesting thing to note is that such tombs a randomly scattered around the entire Samosir island, rather than be accumulated at one place like a cemetery.

RAFTING ON YULONG RIVER
#rafting
Rafting on Yulong River is certainly an exciting way to enjoy Yangshuo's stunning lush karst mountains lining the riverbank.
Two chairs are provided on the bamboo raft and a local boatman navigates the waters using a bamboo pole.
I really wanted to take the raft ride, but my daughter was so concerned with safety and kept wondering whether the raft was stable.
Alhough the waters seems shallow, her fear was totally understandable, so we skipped the raft ride and simply sat by the riverbank, enjoying people watching and soaking in the stunning scenery.
Useful Tips :
1. Wear slippers, as you might get wet.
2. Go early in the morning, to avoid long queues.
3. Request life jackets.
4. Request shorter rides, if you have limited time.

The most insta-worthy bar in Todos Santos
La Copa Bar is located at Todos Santos boutique Hotel, and it is probably the most insta worthy bar in the entire town.
The ambience resemble that one of the cigar lounges, though they do not sell the cigars.
The place is really chilled, and they usually have DJs and live music in the evenings of the weekend. Cocktails are great, and Mezcalitas were surely my favorites.
Place is super laid-back, and never crowded. In my favorite spot for a good drink a nice ambience when I visit lovely town of Todos Santos.
