Looking back on my 18-day solo trip to Japan in 2022 when the epidemic was just lifted
We’re at the last part, we’re about to go home🥲. After checking out early in the morning, we took the bus to JR Shin-Osaka Station to Nagoya (1009 → 1058). I don’t know if it’s because today is a holiday, so many people got lost after arriving at Nagoya Station. After going to the hotel to store our luggage, we started today's itinerary. The only means of transportation in Nagoya city was to take the subway, and we stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel and Marriott Hotel for accommodation.
There are department stores, underground shopping malls and drug stores around Nagoya Station. It is very large and convenient. You can plan a whole day here without any problem. Compared to other stations, I prefer Nagoya because there are less crowds, but it should be there All)👍.
First, we went to Sakae shopping district and ate Shozuki eel rice in the underground shopping mall. After eating, we started shopping in department stores to digest our food. Then we sat down to eat harbs, wandered around Oasis 21, and then returned to Nagoya Station for dinner.
【Food】
1. Songzuki eel rice
Located in an underground shopping mall in Sakae shopping district, I didn’t order eel for three meals because I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to finish the meal. I only ordered eel rice. I already love eel rice. Eating eel in Nagoya gave me a very happy feeling. It was delicious. ! About NT$522
2.Harbs
I didn’t eat in our store, I ate in the department store. I ate at Harbs many times during this trip. It was so delicious. This time I ordered the signature fruit mille-feuille. I enjoyed it every time. I feel better for once
3. Huge Fried Shrimp Ebina Shokudo
It is located at the Taiko Entrance of Nagoya Station. After exiting the station, walk down the ESCA underground shopping mall on the left. I didn’t plan what to eat for dinner that day. I just walked around and found this place very attractive to me, so I went in. There were no customers around 5 o’clock. .
I wanted to eat something else, so I didn’t order the 35 cm Ebi. Instead, I ordered the 23 cm Ebi with open-back fried shrimp, fried pork cutlet set meal, potato salad, miso soup and rice. It was really filling and cost about NT$426.
4.Café Gentiane
Located at Nagoya Station, there are two stores, and there are always a lot of people queuing up every time it’s almost time to bake! ! It looks like a chicken, with cheese wrapped in caramel pudding, and then decorated with chocolate to look like a chicken. It comes in original flavor, strawberry and chocolate. When I went there at the end of October, there happened to be a Halloween version.
Actually, I didn’t have any expectations at first, but I didn’t know that it tasted delicious! So I bought a round of each flavor, and all three flavors were delicious! !
【Stay】Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier
The hotel lobby is on the 18th floor. The lobby uses large glass on the side. Standing by the window, you can see the surrounding scenery of Nagoya Station. There is a free SPA, which guests can use for free. I went there at about 8pm, but there was no one there, but after a while A family came with children, so I left, otherwise it would have been very comfortable! ! There are also coin-operated laundry machines and a convenience store opposite.
I ordered a shared room. The room was not big, but I could still open my 29-inch suitcase. The table was right by the window. I sat here eating and looking at the scenery outside in a daze. It was really cool! ! It’s great day or night! !
The hotel's underground passage can walk to Nagoya Station, but I don't know how to walk to the hotel at Nagoya Station. I asked the station staff and he told me not to go underground and to go above ground so that I wouldn't get lost🤣
Price: 3,000 yuan a night. I think it’s pretty good to live here! !
