Seomun Market Delicacies Sweet Pancakes
Delicious Sliced Noodles Next in Line
Also one of Daegu's Top Ten Delicacies
Seomun Market is quite large, stretching across
The sliced noodles form a street of their own
One stall next to another, forming a row
Finally attracted by the Red Bench stall
Red benches scattered beside the independent stall
Along with the steaming noodle stall
Auntie busy scooping noodles and preparing ingredients
Foodies casually sitting, shouting their orders
This atmosphere and scene are full of stories
But the market auntie doesn't know English
I had to observe how the locals order
Found out this stall only sells sliced noodles
Haha, that makes it much simpler
Happily went to the auntie, gestured 1 with my finger
Auntie nodded and pointed to the seating area
One person, two chairs, one as a table
The sliced noodles in water, quite good-looking
Clear soup noodles with greens, chili oil, and scallions
Sprinkled with white sesame seeds for added color and aroma
A side dish of spicy kimchi is a standard
Stirring while it's hot, served a bowl
The broth is clear and sweet, the white noodles are delicate
This bowl of sliced noodles may not be extraordinary
But like our market's plain noodles
Always a bowl of delicious, never-tiring food
Eating while experiencing the old market culture
Thinking about what to eat next
Thailand's Ratchaburi_Potta_, a hidden forest-themed cafe.
Fresh Orange Cold Brew
Cold brew, topped with oranges
POTTA in Ratchaburi
Originally part of a pocket plan
A small white house covered in greenery
Attracted by such photos
When visiting, there was some hesitation
Walking on a small industrial road
With weeds and bungalows on both sides
Even saw an abandoned recycling yard
After a short distance, turned a corner
Finally saw the POTTA sign
On a wall covered in greenery
Just like the photos, a small white house
Hidden in the sunlight and greenery
Opening the door, the aroma of coffee wafts
Floor-to-ceiling windows let in natural light
Falling on wooden tables and chairs
Surrounded by wooden forest
Like a fairytale forest house
Fresh Orange Cold Brew, sweet with fruit
But more of a coffee aftertaste
Inside, it's very quiet in the afternoon
Outside, leaves flutter in the breeze
Take a sip of refreshing coffee
Taste a piece of homemade cake
Unknowingly, an entire afternoon passes

The Beauty of Beiwudang Temple in Lüliang, Shanxi
Beiwudang Temple's beauty lies in several aspects:
- Historical and Cultural Beauty: Built during the prosperous Tang Dynasty, Beiwudang Temple has a history of over 900 years. It is an ancient temple that integrates Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, with a profound historical and cultural heritage.
- Architectural Beauty: The entire temple faces south with a strict and elegant layout of four courtyards. The central axis buildings, including the mountain gate and side halls, are symmetrically arranged, creating a harmonious and natural atmosphere. The temple's structures, such as the multi-treasure pagoda and the Great Buddha Hall, are ancient and magnificent in design, with compact structures and reasonable layouts, showcasing the high level of traditional Chinese architectural art.
- Natural Scenery Beauty: Beiwudang Temple is backed by the Beiwudang Geological Park, which preserves the natural landscape of the Helan Mountain. The area features numerous peaks, unique landforms, and a striking Danxia landform. The mountain is often shrouded in clouds and mist, adding a sense of divine and spiritual aura to the temple.
- Religious Atmosphere Beauty: Beiwudang Temple is a famous temple in the northwest, a sacred Buddhist site, and a tourist attraction. Its serene and elegant environment attracts many visitors. The temple's morning bells and evening drums, along with the melodious Buddhist music, create a peaceful and harmonious religious atmosphere.
In summary, the beauty of Beiwudang Temple is a perfect combination of historical culture, architectural art, natural scenery, and religious atmosphere, providing a sense of tranquility, peace, and solemnity.

Manila: Where Food, Scenery, and People Meet in Perfect Chaos!
Manila—where the food is as spicy as the traffic and the people as warm as the sun! Let’s start with the food: from crispy lechon (roast pig) to halo-halo (a dessert that’s basically a sugar bomb), Manila has something to thrill your taste buds. Just make sure you bring some antacids because the flavors will kick you into overdrive!
As for the scenery, it's a mix of skyscrapers, street vendors, and colorful jeepneys. It’s chaotic, yet beautiful in its own way, like a painting from a genius who didn’t follow the rules. The people? Always smiling, always ready to help, even if they’re not sure where you’re going—probably because they’re stuck in traffic too!

First Time Traveling to Thailand: A Diverse Paradise of East and West.
Sawadee ka, first visit to Bangkok, Thailand✈️ Second time in Thailand😆
Due to delays yesterday, we arrived at the airport close to 10 PM and reached the city around 11 PM🤣 The night view from where we are staying is amazing. Bangkok is dazzling at night🏙️ and bustling during the day🚗🚗 I thought it would be very hot, but waking up to 30 degrees, it doesn't feel too hot✨ From the moment we boarded the plane in Hong Kong yesterday, I noticed that half of the passengers were not from Hong Kong but from all over the world😎😆 This truly is an international city and a tourist haven😎
There are many temples along the way, with the Erawan Shrine being the most famous. Walking and dining here, you can see various performances and shows🎇✨ The streets are lively, with a mix of Thai and Western (Christmas) vibes in the capital🏙️. Since we also have business to attend to later, we first arranged to rent a car and head straight to Hua Hin beach resort🏖️🏖️ Tomorrow, we officially start our beach vacation, and the day after, we'll return to Bangkok for more sightseeing☀️🌡️

AMAZING CHINA TOWN SINGAPORE
#100waysoftravel #deliciousfood #历史古迹 #旅行灵感
I had an intransit stay in Singapore Chinatown Mercure Icon Hotel in Oct 2024, nice hotel which is strategically located in the centre of Chinatown. I spend half day walked around Chinatown and was amazed with its rich history, colorful streets, and diverse culinary offerings, Chinatown is a must-visit destination for travelers seeking an authentic cultural experience and local food delicacies. Chinatown's architecture is a captivating blend of baroque and Victorian styles. Stroll down Pagoda Street and Temple Street to admire the beautifully restored, colorful shophouses that tell stories of the past.
Recommended to explore the Maxwell food court just right to Maxwell MRT station for local dishes. Maxwell Food Centre is home to some of Singapore’s best hawker stalls. It’s lauded by both locals and tourists as THE hawker centre to go to if you want to savour true blue Singaporean food. We don’t have to say much, because the queues at some of these stalls speak volumes!Should try out the famous Tiantian Chicken Rice, Dimsum, Chinese Traditional Dessert, Rojak, etc.
The Cutest Good Luck Tour in Tokyo is Here.
Gotokuji Temple has the most lucky cats, with around 1,000 of them. This temple is also the birthplace of the lucky cat. A lucky cat raises its right paw, while a fortune cat raises its left paw. If you want to make a wish, you can take a lucky cat home first, and when your wish comes true, return it and exchange it for a bigger one. This is the origin of the thousands of cats in the temple.
× Tips: The temple office for the lucky cats closes at 4 PM, so don't come too late if you want to make a wish. Especially if you want to buy a big fortune cat, you should arrive at the temple by 7 AM (each person can only buy one, and they only accept cash).
Transportation:
1. After arriving at Gotokuji Station on the Odakyu Line, walk about 10 minutes along the Gotokuji shopping street. Alternatively, transfer to the Tokyu Setagaya Line tram and get off at Miyanosaka Station, then walk for 3 minutes.
2. Take the cute Setagaya Line 'Lucky Cat Train' to Yamashita Station and walk from there. The Lucky Cat Train runs infrequently, so please check the timetable online in advance. (It reminds me of the Tuen Mun Light Rail in Hong Kong)
Address: 2-24-7 Gotokuji, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo

Cityscape Escapade: Discovering Kuala Lumpur’s Hidden Gems
#cityscape #100waysoftravel #beautiful_malaysia #kl #吉隆坡 #mrt #旅行灵感 #海脚人 #michelin
Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant cityscape offers an exciting mix of modern attractions and local flavors. Our day began with a visit to Ampang Park, where we found an open park perfect for skateboarding enthusiasts. It was the ideal spot to kickstart the day with some fresh air and outdoor fun.
Afterward, we headed to Damascus Bukit Bintang, where we enjoyed the best kebab in town. The juicy, flavorful meat wrapped in soft bread made for a mouthwatering meal. With energy restored, we walked to Pavilion KL, home to the famous Uncle Roger fried rice stall. The fragrant, crispy fried rice was everything we expected—delicious, with a dash of humor as we imagined Uncle Roger himself approving.
Next on the itinerary was a trip to the impressive TRX Mall, which houses Malaysia’s first Apple Store. The sleek design of the mall and the futuristic vibe of the Apple Store made it a must-visit for tech lovers and shoppers alike.
We wrapped up the day with dinner at Hai Kah Lang’s Seafood Noodles, a Michelin-recommended spot known for its rich, flavorful seafood noodles. It was the perfect way to end a busy day exploring Kuala Lumpur’s cityscape.
Tip: Take public transport using the MRT day pass for just RM6 if you’re Malaysian. It’s a convenient and affordable way to explore the city’s highlights!
Classical Jiangsu — Suzhou
#traveldiaries #chinatrip #travellerswonderland #100waysoftravel #历史古迹 #旅行灵感 #deliciousfood #cityscape #eatlikealocal
Chinese proverb which states “above is heaven and below is SuHang (Suzhou and Hangzhou).” This proverb implies that the beauty of Suzhou and Hangzhou is comparable to heaven.
This city embodies the classic flavor of Jiangnan, rich in tourism resources, and Suzhou gardens and water towns are the most famous among all. Suzhou gardens can be traced back to the royal garden in 6th century BC. People always say “Suzhou Gardens are the finest under heaven”, that's not an exaggeration
Suzhou is another food heaven for the foodies! The Squirrel-shaped Mandarin Fish. The Squirrel-shaped Mandarin Fish, a typical traditional dish in Suzhou, is highly appreciated by guests from home and abroad!
Not forgetting the Suzhou Museum, designed by the world-renowned architect I.M. Pei, is a modern architectural masterpiece that integrates traditional Chinese design elements with contemporary aesthetics.
Remember to indulge in the Pingtan performance, a traditional form of storytelling accompanied by music, originating from Suzhou. It combines narration, singing, and musical instruments like the pipa and sanxian. Pingtan performances often depict historical tales, love stories, or folk legends, providing insight into Suzhou's cultural roots.

💎 V&A Museum: 3h
As someone who’s visited the V&A three times, I’m qualified to recommend it! Here’s why:
Stunning Aesthetics: From the entrance, the colors, to the garden, every corner is Instagram-worthy! Perfect for photo lovers and those who enjoy buying museum merch.
Sculpture Hall is a Must-See: The Cast Court on the ground floor – even though they’re replicas, the proportions are so grand that the giant David statue feels like a god descending! You’ll definitely have a “wow” moment.
Jewelry Room is Pure Magic: The second floor’s jewelry section will stop you in your tracks. Sapphires and emeralds twinkle like the universe is winking at you! ✨
Diverse Special Exhibits: From home designs during design week to backstage videos from 200 years of performing arts (including behind-the-scenes looks at wigs from The Crown), it’s definitely worth checking out.
Tip: You can skip the non-European section on the first floor if you’re short on time and focus on the highlights!
💎 British Museum: 3h
Here’s how to get the most out of it:
Must-see sections on the ground floor: China, Asia, and Egypt – absolute treasures!
The European section feels a bit flat in comparison, more focused on historical knowledge. You can skip most of the second floor if you're short on time.
💎 Tate Modern: 1.5h
Pop Art is super fun, and there’s a free 45-minute guided tour at the top of every hour. Highly recommend joining to get deeper insights into the curation.
Personally, I found it more interesting than the Pompidou in Paris – the artworks here are much more expressive and thought-provoking!
💎 Wallace Collection: 2h
A hidden gem! Free guided tours from 2:30-3:30 PM (first-come, first-served at the front desk).
They’ve got quirky treasures like what looks like an armillary sphere, but it’s actually a storage device for quill pens – one part opens to reveal ink, the other part opens for sand to dry the ink faster!
💎 National Gallery: 1.5h
The layout is a bit chaotic, and while there are plenty of artworks, none stood out to me as memorable (personal opinion!).
💎 Natural History Museum?
Amazing exterior! If you’re into natural history, go for it – but it’s not really my thing.

Redang Island - Divers’ heaven
Redang Island- one of the largest islands off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia and one of the most beautiful islands in the world. It is famous for its crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches, offering snorkeling and diving opportunities for tourists.
The beach is covered with soft white sand. Coral and fish can be seen just a few metres from the beach.
The 2000 film, Summer Holiday was filmed on the Laguna Redang Island Resort, and a replica of the tea house now serves as the resort's gift shop.
Summer Collection is one of the most popular oldest souvenir, beachwear, and swimwear seller on the island after the island became famous through the film.
The island is also a turtle nesting site, and these turtles serve as a draw for ecotourism.

🇹🇭Bangkok|A classic itinerary you can’t miss when you come to Bangkok: the Grand Palace
The Grand Palace is a must-see attraction for most people who come to Bangkok.
So it’s always full of tourists from all over the world
Coupled with the hot weather in Thailand, tourists holding umbrellas occupy your field of vision in front of you.
No matter how you take the picture, there are always purple umbrellas.
Although we are both tourists, it has to be said that it affects our mood somewhat.
In addition, the Grand Palace has a dress code, so please pay attention before going.
There is an automatic ticket vending machine at the door. I am a good friend. The ticket is 500 baht.
After the end, you can also go for a walk at the nearby Temple of the Reclining Buddha.
Across the river is Temple Arun, which can be completed in just one day✅

🇹🇭Bangkok|New hotels you must know when flying to Don Mueang Airport
This is The Quarter Ratchayothin, the newest hotel under the UHG Group.
UHG's hotels are really beautiful, and staying in one of their hotels feels like a vacation.
This time I stayed in their newest hotel, which is very close to Phahonyothin 24 MRT station.
Next to it is Qatuqia. This building is half office and half hotel. The hotel starts from the 19th floor to the top floor. There are also shops planned downstairs. However, it was still too new at that time. The hotel facilities were not yet open, and the offices and shops were not yet completed. There is currently only one bar stationed in the outside shop part, so many people will gather downstairs at night!
But when I saw this night view, I felt it was all worth it!
Such a new hotel with such a beautiful night view makes this holiday even better😊
I think this hotel is perfect if you happen to be flying to Don Mueang Airport.
Then I just want to visit Qatuqia, so I really want to stay here📌

4 Days Solo Adventure in Las Vegas and Beyond
#solotrip #100waysoftravel #holiday #usa #trip
Embarking on a four-day solo trip to Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, and the surrounding areas was an exhilarating experience filled with vibrant sights, rich history, and opportunities for exploration. With a rented car, I was able to navigate this dynamic region at my own pace, making for an unforgettable journey.
I set out for a day trip to the Hoover Dam, located just a short drive away from Las Vegas. The dam’s impressive architecture and its significance in American engineering were awe-inspiring.
Walking across the dam offered stunning views of the Colorado River and Lake Mead, making it a perfect spot for photography.
This solo trip to Las Vegas and its surrounding attractions was a remarkable experience that showcased the best of what the region has to offer, from the bustling Strip visiting malls and interesting hotels, to the serene beauty of Hoover Dam and got the A&W my favorite fast food meal.
It was a journey of self-discovery and adventure, one that I will cherish for years to come.
