On Saturday, I went to Kwun Tong to look at building materials and stopped by this Taiwanese eatery for afternoon tea. The place was packed, with a few people already queuing at the door, while the neighboring restaurant had only a few customers. Ordered a variety of food and drinks, each dish looked very appealing. The snacks were small in portion, so I ordered a few more to try. Bubble Milk Tea A large cup, ordered with less sugar and ice. The flavor was rich, and the pearls were chewy. Taro Fresh Milk The taro inside was smooth and delicate, perfectly paired with the milk. Honey Glazed Seaweed Pork Ribs Rice The pork ribs were fried to perfection and drizzled with sweet honey glaze, accompanied by seaweed, cabbage, pickles, and green onions. It was a perfect match with rice! Cheese Ham and Egg Pancake I always love egg pancakes, and this one had plenty of stretchy cheese. Loved it! Not Takoyaki The texture was firm and not crumbly, with chewy octopus pieces inside. Fried Fresh Milk and Taro Sandwich Called a 'two-word sandwich' because it's thinner than a regular sandwich. The taro filling between the biscuits was surprisingly delicious! The fried fresh milk was very crispy, with a sweet and milky flavor. This Taiwanese eatery offers a wide variety of food at affordable prices. I found out that if you follow their IG, you get a 10% discount on afternoon tea, making it even more worth it. After seeing the renovation of La Rosabelle Bar & Grill, I was attracted 🌹. The whole area is relatively quiet on Monday. You can book the entire venue by walking in 🤩. The Baroque-style decoration has oil paintings, wall lamps, and a staircase that cannot reach the upper floor. The environment is well decorated and you can imagine yourself as a French princess 💐. However, the music playing in the shop, Taylor Swift, made me feel a bit out of place 🤣🥀. The food portions are sufficient, and the taste is average 🍕. There is no particularly surprising feeling. Tealive One Maxim Sentul staff was very friendly, this place was fancy, I like the service here the most as well because it's very obvious the staff members have teamwork with one another and they're also polite, decent and service-minded toward consumers. Staff listen to customers needs properly, moderate volume when they had chit chat each other infront customers. She even teaches me how to purchase and redeem through the app, so I can save my money for a little bit more.. The place is calm and does not busy at all. Perhaps due to its secluded location.
