Last week, after having to run around the city all day, I felt that if I could rest in a hotel near the BTS and in the heart of the city, it would be a good fit. This hotel is a newly opened hotel. It is located in Soi Sukhumvit 29, just 150 meters into the alley. When you come out to the entrance of the alley, you can walk to BTS Phrom Phong. Although the hotel is not a tall building, it has a relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool on the first floor of the hotel looks private and not crowded. It also has a resort feel. There are corners for relaxing around the pool. There is a children's pool with a slide. You can bring your family to relax here. . As for the room, it can be called a condo feel because there is a kitchen corner, a sofa corner, a dining corner, a work desk, and a bed. If you come to stay as a long stay, it is considered comfortable. The room is also spacious. . Breakfast is a buffet. We like the colorful and bright atmosphere of the restaurant. Bringing children and family to change the atmosphere is also good. . This is another hotel in the city that we think we will come to relax and chill. It has been a great experience lodging here at this Hostel right at the heart of Bangkok City. The staff are so nice, that they even let me in before the check in time (with just a extra minimum fee). If you find yourself in BKK wanting somewhere to stay even just for a night, this the best place to be. It is also home for different types of people with different backgrounds, nationalities, races, etc. in short; for all walks of life. I even got new friends here in this hotel. They also offer free coffee and chocolate drink for everyone that stays here, just go to their common area, where you can watch with your new friends, end even play different games with them. It’s a safe and beautiful area, conveniently located there are several shopping centers, wonderful restaurants including five star restaurants and mom and pop type restaurants, West town Mall, Turkey Creek shopping Center, movie theaters and so much more. Microtel is also conveniently located with easy interstate access. The employees are very kind and friendly and have been there for several years. Microtel also offers safe and secure rooms as well as video surveillance throughout the facility providing safe parking as well. Microtel also offers the best price around town considering the area that it’s in. The beds are so comfortable and cozy and soft the showers have great water pressure and heated water, the breakfast is self service accessible, there’s also a laundry facility for guests with a convenient quarter machine. I’ve always been a repeat customer and have always known I could rely on Microtel when needed! Always a 5 star from me!

Price - SGD500 (1 bedroom deluxe suite) Rating - 5 out of 5 Check-in registration was fast but our room was only ready by around 4:30PM. Aside from Ascott, I already tried another serviced apartment/suite. Ascott’s “edge” over that one is their entertainment system. Their TV doesn’t have chromecast or can’t mirror screen but their IT guy helped me connect my google chromecast which made my stay more enjoyable since I was able to watch what I like in Netflix, Amazon Video, Disney Plus, etc. Ascott’s also had a dishwasher, the same room suite category in the other place we stayed at didn’t have one. This place is very suitable for family staycations or staying-in with a group of friends. Their fully-equipped kitchen enables you to save a bit because you can cook your own meals - great for celebrating birthdays with home-cooked meals then inviting friends over since the suite also have a proper dining area! (Note: remember to adhere to the safety protocols pls! ;)) Ascott is also nice for expats to live in temporarily if they’re only staying for a week or more.
