A few minutes walk to Mong Kok MTR station, there are many restaurants and mall! Even if you are hungry for supper at night, you are not afraid of running out of food! And the front desk staff was very polite and good service! The room type I stayed in this time is Skyline, which has a 1.6m queen bed. It's very spacious, no problem to roll around 🤣, the mattress and pillows are very comfortable, You can sleep until the sky is bright, the facilities are all available, Basic hotel amenities are available, with 2 specialty chairs and a coffee table. can easily sit down and eat, and the toilet is is dry and wet separation, Clean and tidy! The Regala Skycity Hotel is a very new hotel just opened a year ago. It has over 1200 rooms and is part of the Regal Hotel group. The lobby is the usual glittering style with gold and marble design. we stayed in a twin room which was actually quite small- (about 15 sq m). There is a small desk, TV and bedside table, but the space in the room is quite tight to even keep our luggage opened. There is a decent size swimming pool in the inner courtyard. The best part about this hotel though is it’s convenience to the airport. if you are taking and early flight, it is a good idea to stay here for the night. The hotel offers free shuttle bus to the airport hourly and the journey only takes 5 min. The shuttle also goes to Tung Chung MTR, where there are plenty of restaurant choices and shopping opportunities. #hotel #hkhotel #lantau

Auberge DB staycation This could be our favourite family friendly hotel. Satisfying my kids needs, including bathtubs, Disney Junior on tv, beach or playground at a reasonably good price. Before the playground reopens, I book the staycation packages that includes an afternoon set and buffet breakfast for 2 at $1100 per room, and upgraded to ocean front view for just $300 extras. Room is spacious, bed and amenities are acceptable, view is always spectacular when the sea is included; the fun clubs or I call it the game room for adults and kids are opened which is cool because we had a little bit of fun time with the table tennis, basketball machine and arcade. Afternoon tea set is alright and buffet breakfast with enough food choices. Do remember to book your time slot for buffet breakfast though. The next morning, we had breakfast at 8, done by 9 and head right to the beach nearby. Where we found this beach playground set up by the locals, and a pond next to it. K and D absolutely love this place! The swing, the zipline, the mini- tree house and their favourite spot is the pond where they found shrimp, crabs and fishes! They met other kids and started to play for hours. I love how kids are enjoying and being natural, at nature. I took kids back to the beach and playground a week later. They spent 3 hours at the pond and beach, playing with Italian and Aussie kids. We managed to catch a fish and crab for close observation before freeing them to the pond. I later learnt that this amazing playground we are enjoying are works of these kids hero dads, wanting their kids to be able to have fun outside, especially during the pandemic where the playgrounds are closed. Viewing the website I had reservations about this hotel because my company booked this accommodation and I expected them to cheap out. To my surprise the staff was very friendly and my room was neat. The house keeping did a good job and the location was great as it was near many restaurants, bars and the metro. Unfortunately, we did not get a harbor view from our room but rather no view. Refer to the picture uploaded, and showing the view from our room. One of the point to note is that the breakfast good. Definitely a place to stay if you are on a budget as it is clean and neat.
