We previously introduced Hotasan Son'eiji Temple for its wind chime festival and hydrangeas, but during the rainy season, you can enjoy a cute tunnel of Teru Teru Bouzu 🤍 When I visited in 2022, there were colorful Teru Teru Bouzu like the one in the photo. I didn't have a good photo, but when I visited in 2023, the blue gradient created a different atmosphere! ! 1,200 Teru Teru Bouzu are displayed in front of the gate at the entrance to Hotasan Son'eiji Temple, so you can enjoy visiting the temple even during the gloomy rainy season, so we recommend it. Warmth Forest in Hamamatsu. A small village with a medieval European motif. It's a wonderful space that makes you feel like you're in a fairy tale world. Sattata Pass in Shizuoka City. Unfortunately, the observation deck, which is the best spot, has been temporarily closed since the flood a year or two ago, but you can see the blue Suruga Bay from the parking lot! Hojo-ji Temple 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 This temple was founded by Hojo Yoshitoki, the second regent of the Kamakura Shogunate. When his son Yasuchiyomaru was attacked and killed by a giant snake, he used Hojo-ji Temple as his grave and built the Shichido Garan. Yoshitoki's own grave is also here. It is located on a hilltop reached by climbing up stone steps, and has a great view. I stayed at the Izu Imai Hama Tokyu Hotel in Shizuoka Prefecture, Izu. The hotel is very spacious, not just the rooms, so I took a walk around the premises 🚶♀️. In addition to bars and restaurants, the hotel also has a pool, a children's play area, and a library, making it a great spot to enjoy even without leaving the hotel! The beach is right in front of the hotel, making it an ideal destination for a summer vacation with kids 🌻. I went to Shimoda Park in Izu Shimoda, Shizuoka Prefecture to see the hydrangeas☔️ There are quite a few slopes in the park, but as I climbed up, I found colorful hydrangeas in bloom!
