Baguio Cathedral!
#localescapes
The Our Lady of The Atonement Cathedral, commonly known as Baguio Cathedral is a Roman Catholic Cathedral located on Session Road in Baguio. Its distinctive exterior twin spires with beautiful rose-colored paint and stained glass windows make it a popular tourist attraction in Baguio. Baguio Cathedral sits on the top of the hill overlooking the city. We visited the place during the week so it wasn't crowded at all. Best time to visit churches.

A good place to stay in Baguio!!
#timetotravel
Baguio Airport Homestay is located in Loakan, Baguio. It is definitely near the airport. It is a huge house that has many rooms. Each room has its own bathroom which I really like. We stayed here since this is the same venue of my friend's wedding. It was worth it. It has billiards, Netflix, kitchen and a place to chill. If you know how to play the piano, you can also play it there by the living area. It costs 600pesos per person/night. I think it's worth more than the price. We had a great stay.

A Magnificent Trip
📍Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto
Address: Mirador Hill, Dominican Hill Rd, Baguio, 2600 Benguet
The Lourdes Grotto is a Catholic shrine and place of prayer and meditation located on a hillside. This pilgrimage site features a statue of the Virgin Mary. Devotees like me would love and enjoy the view this shrine comes with. Such a wonderful experience. 🔔⛪️

Haunted Baguio Story: Diplomat Hotel
📍Heritage Hill and Nature Park Garden
Address: Dominican Hill, Diplomat Road, Baguio, 2600 Benguet
Formerly the Dominical Hill and Retreat House, this eerie building was once a refugee camp and Japanese headquarters when the Second World War broke. Although full of horror stories, this historical place is still one of the most visited tourist spot in Baguio. 🧟♀️🫣

Not your typical Cemetery 🪦
📍Cemetery of Negativism
Address: Camp John Hay, Baguio, Benguet
Also known as the Lost Cemetery, this place is not your typical tourist spot but definitely a must visit one! This place introduces you about negativism which is said to be man's greatest self-imposed infliction, his most limiting factor, and his heaviest burden. Very inviting, indeed! 🤘🏻👍🏻

A Paradise in the City of Pines
📍Camp John Hay
Address: Loakan Road, Baguio City
Mixed-used as a tourist destination and a forest watershed, this haven is known as the busiest tourist attraction in Baguio. With the several activities you can do inside this very huge piece of land you’ll definitely enjoy the cold breeze and nice scenery of the area. A must visit in Baguio! 👍🏻👏🏻

When in doubt, zen it out! ❤️
Welcome to City of pines, Baguio! As we visit Baguio together with my family, we discover a lot of places that is part of their tourist attractions. The Lion's Head is a statue along Kennon Road, a major highway in Luzon, Philippines. This tourist attraction is bit far from the City since it is located in Camp 6 near the Baguio–Tuba boundary. In this scenery, you can see the lion's head which measures 40 ft (12 m) in height.
I can really recommend this tourist attraction because of the location and it is not really complete if this place were not visited. You can also try the Igorot costume with a minimal fee. You can really enjoy visiting this lion's head since they also have fresh air coming from the trees and mountains.

THE CREEPIEST BUILDING IN THE PHILIPPINES
The Diplomat Hotel was built in 1913 as a retreat house for the priests of the Dominican order. It became a refugee camp during the second World War but was eventually invaded by the Japanese and committed acts of brutality. In the 70s, it was remodeled as a hotel but later ceased operations and became abandoned in the 80s. This eerie abandoned building with a dark history is said to be one of the most haunted places in the Philippines.
I'm not the bravest person but I love going to spooky places (in daylight).

Summer vacation in Manila and Baguio
Stayed few days in Manila where I stayed at Heritage Hotel in Pasay City. Location wise is very convenient, it’s near to the airport and the huge shopping mall MOA (Mall of Asia) Uber ride is very handy.
The hotel is clean and cozy. The staff are friendly and attentive to your needs, from room attendant, floor staff and even the security. My nieces and nephews enjoyed the morning buffet breakfast and the pool.
We went to Baguio where Victpry liner bus terminal is also located in Pasay City. Our bus ride took us a little over 4 hours. Visited the strawberry farm, the town of Baguio and the roof deck of SM Baguio. #heritagehotel #baguiocity
The SM of Baguio City
The SM is located at the upper of session road. SM has a very nice view of the city and surrounded by tall pine trees. Convenient to restaurant, condos and hotels nearby.

THE PALACE
The stone kingdom was made like a traditional riprap. The stone kingdom features several attractions, including towers that depict Gatan and Bangan, both Igorots who survived the holocaust, and a Kabunyan tower– a tower for the Igorot god. You’ll also find here a white carabao monument, which, according to the owner, was his sign to build the Stone Kingdom.Another attraction you’ll see here is a bridge and an Igorot gold mine, all showcasing the talent and skills of the Igorot. There’s also a fertility stone tower too! There are just so many things to see and discover in this attraction that are all picture-worthy.
The place also aims to correct the misconceptions about Igorots, as it describes itself as a “cultural revolution.” It aims to show people that the Igorots are civilized and culturally advanced, and they take pride in their skills and heritage. Indeed, this attraction is built for tourism purposes and for everyone to learn about the rich culture of the Igorot people. #baguiotour #baguiocity #travel #travel_lover
SYUDAD SA TAAS NG BUNDOK
Session Road rises steeply from local covered market at bottom end, about quarter mile, upto the large SM shopping mall, that dominates the shopping area in Baguio City center. This and some of the smaller roads leading off Session Road is the main business and shopping area. Always very busy, lined on both sides of road, with every other shop a cafe or restaurante. My personal favorite is the covered market, a maze of small shops selling everything. One part is butchers, another vegetables and yet another dry goods, cloths, pots, pans and small electrical goods. Many money changers, usually better rate than banks, but be aware! Some of the taller 4 and 5 floored buildings along Session Road are packed with small shops, cafe and business like lawyers, insurance brokers etc. Overall a great place to emurse yourself in local life. The SM mall is the same as all other SM malls in most big towns, though the Baguio branch is quite big and is great to explore when its raining. The mall is populated with the national chain stores. SM supermarket court is interesting, selling many US/Euro/Asian big brands. Fast food court sells food from all over Asia. Food is fast food production line, but reasonably priced and value. The outside of the SM is restaurants on each of the three levels, McDonalds, ChowKing, Jollybee, coffee shops, cake shops. Top floor has a two screened cinema. If you go in the afternoon, when it normally rains, you will have to join long queue to get a cab. #travel #travel_lover #baguiocity #baguiotour

Is it fun in Baguio?
As the Summer Capital of the Philippines, it lives up to its title for being a go-to place when the weather's too humid and hot. As cold as it is, it features the best scenic and beautiful views you can ever imagine. I had so much fun in Baguio City.
