Kampong Phluk Stilt Village and Flooded Forest on Lake Tonle Sap. Kampong Phluk is located ~20 miles southwest of downtown Siem Reap. Much of the way is on an unpaved dirt road so you can expect the journey to take you 40 minutes to one hour. Kampong Phluk (which means “Harbor of the Tusks”) is home to ~700 families with a total population of around 3,500 people. Everything in this town is either built 20 feet above land or is designed to float so it can rise and fall with the water level of the Tonle Sap Lake. Make sure to visit the “flooded forest”. this is an incredible ancient treasure located just outside the seaside town of Izmir turkey. well before the collapse of the ottoman empire this city was a port town city inhabited by the ancient Romans. Walk down the original streets thousands of years old as though you were walking in the streets of ancient Rome. You’ll be amazed by all the small theaters and large coliseums ocean pillars will tower above you with Roman design and spectacular Roman architecture. This trip is an entire day trip as leave yourself plenty of time to walk that almost 40 km of pathways, Corredor‘s and ancient paths. if you’re lucky enough to stay for the sunset I highly recommend you do. Transportation is easy as there is a train that arrives in the town straight from Izmir.  everything that you need to see is clearly marked in English if you’re traveling from the United States. I unfortunately I had to significantly edit (because of community rules regulations) many the pictures not to show many of the people. They don’t wear much clothes in this part of the world as the temperature frequently rises above 40*C But here’s what I am allowed to show you. This experience should be on the top of the list for anyone who wants to experience the way the world was 10,000 years ago.. you will fly into Addis Ababa Ethiopia and make your way by small plane and for my Ford truck to the southern border of Ethiopia and Kenya.  These people, along with hundreds of other tribes, all live in the Omo Valley of southern Ethiopia. Getting there, however, is incredibly difficult: planes do not fly and roads are either in terrible condition or nonexistent. they are rapidly disappearing in numbers. This incredible archipelago is located approximately 90 minutes by boat off of the coast of Krabi Thailand. The Phi Phi Islands or a series of smaller islands including bamboo island, coconut island and Maya bay.  When you arrive from Krabi on the mainland I highly suggest that you rent a long boat with Captain and Guide So that you can experience this incredible archipelago privately and over the course of a full day are you going to fully take in the magnificent scope of its splendor and beauty. bamboo island is one of my favorites. It is a small island of white powdered sand beach surrounded by rich deep blue and turquoise crystal clear waters. This is a national park so yours day will require a small entry fee but it is more than worth it to spend time soaking in the warm rays of sunshine as you lay down in pure tropical luxury.  The devils tower is located in Wyoming and is a very popular national park. this natural structure has many myths and legends attached to it. The original tribes of the American Indians had worshiped this natural wonder as their ancestors once did before them. According to the Britannia the Petronas Twin Towers, pair of skyscraper office buildings in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, that are among the world’s tallest buildings. The Twin Towers, built to house the headquarters of Petronas, the national petroleum company of Malaysia, were designed by the Argentine-born American architect Cesar Pelli; they were completed in 1998. The plan for each tower is identical: an eight-lobed circular structure that contains 88 stories of occupiable space and a pyramid-shaped pinnacle surmounted by a slender steel spire. Both rise to a height of 1,483 feet (451.9 metres), which includes 242 feet (73.6 metres) for pinnacle and spire. Each building is supported by 16 large columns around its perimeter, which, along with the rest of the frame, are made of high-strength, steel-reinforced concrete rather than of structural steel; the exterior sheathing consists of stainless steel and glass.
