The USS Lexington

The USS Lexington was commissioned in the year 1943 and became a large part of World War II’s Pacific theater. It was a key player at Pearl Harbor in the 5th Fleet, where it served as a carrier for combat aircraft. Its dark blue color, which afforded it impressive camouflage that tricked Japanese forces, earned it a special nickname: The Blue Ghost. Today, the USS Lexington has more than earned its retirement after its prolific career – something it has found in the bay of Corpus Christi since 1992. Here, it is a museum that educates visitors on the history and function of naval battles and aviation, as well as showcasing its own tale and legacy. In addition, it hosts a flight simulator, a special escape room, a 3D movie, and virtual battle stations! The USS Lexington has five different routes to take on a self-guided tour, so there’s no shortage of what to do when it comes to ways to explore its 1,000 square-foot interiors. Visit East Texas in the Fall

Visiting East Texas in the fall was a magical experience. The natural scenery here glows with warm colors as the leaves on the trees turn red and orange. I enjoyed wandering through parks and nature reserves with a quiet and refreshing atmosphere. Walking along paths surrounded by various trees was very relaxing. Dining at small restaurants with local dishes made from fresh ingredients was truly delicious. I highly recommend visiting East Texas in the fall to enjoy the beauty of nature and experience the peaceful atmosphere. It's the perfect destination for relaxation! 🍂🌳

Amazing service

On our two day trip to Xi’an to see the terracotta army right before Spring Festival, my wife and I chose to stay away from the theme park like tourist attractions in the southwest part of the city. We were attracted to RoseGarden by its location in a quieter district as well as the ongoing promotion. We were pleasantly amazed by the level of service provided, from the moment we got off taxi to our departure in a hotel shuttle to the airport. Hospitality was redefined at a different level at this hidden gem. The staff members were super friendly and attentive to our needs. Long Long was especially helpful! The breakfast buffet was delicious – we had the best Xi’an style hamburger for two days. A good variety of Chinese breakfast dishes to choose from. One room service crew member was so considerate as to bring us a mouse pad after seeing us work on laptop without one. Really appreciated! We have been to other luxury hotels in a few countries. Service defines luxury. Definitely recommend this hotel with thumbs up.
