Stade Vélodrome is the home stadium of the famous French team Marseille. It was also one of the venues for the 1998 World Cup in France, France's largest club stadium. In addition, the French national football team is often played here.

Yes, climb it - there are probably easier ways to get to this area, but we chose to climb the steps up the street from the Hôtel-Dieu. If we had more time and were feeling better, we would have explored further, but we saw enough to make the trek worthwhile. There were lots of small shops with an endless supply of goods, as well as cluttered attic apartments, flower-filled window sills and laundry hanging out to dry in narrow alleys: we could have wandered aimlessly - and happily - all day.

The magnificent building was designed in 1823 by Penchaud to commemorate the victory of the French Revolution and the First French Empire and was dedicated as a gift to the Republic, the Consul, and the ruler. Its inscription and shallow stone carvings were designed by sculptors David Dangre and Remy, and its vault symbolizes the entrance to the ancient city. We were supposed to be renovating the Arc de Triomphe as we passed it, surrounded by construction sites, but the Arc de Triomphe was exquisite and spectacular. The second picture billboard blocked the location is the Arc de Triomphe, surrounded by the surrounding construction site.

The building is very beautiful, I didn't walk in, I was afraid to disturb others in a bad mood, I took pictures outside 📷, remember to go nearby to buy Marseille specialty snacks 🥧 Navettes!

In 1671 the French royal family ordered the construction of a shelter for the poor, the Ancient Relief House (Hospice de la Vieille Charité), with the main purpose of building a shelter for the poor and ill migrants on the streets of Marseille. It was a strange selfishness, not out of compassion, because the nobles demanded that the poor should not leave the shelter at will, and they did not like to see them wandering around Marseille. The Palaeolithic Relief Center has an artistic courtyard, the Museum of Archaeology (Musée d''Archéologie) and the Museum of African Art, Ocean and American Indian Arts. In 1671, the nobles of Marseille were "poor and beggars" A sanctuary was established, the old relief house in the old town of Marseille. The main body of the relief house is divided into two parts: the hospital of Pierre and the church of the dome, designed by Pierre, the architect of the royal palace of Louis 14, Paris. It has an Italian Renaissance style, but is simpler and simpler. After several renovations, the relief house has become a comprehensive collection of Mediterranean archaeological museums, Egyptian antiquities museums, African art museums, and the French Academy of Social Sciences. The Hexue Cultural Center. It is said that the completion of the ancient relief house was not because of the compassion of the Marseille nobles, but because of their strange mentality similar to "cleanliness", they have had enough of the poor who have been running around in the streets of Marseille for a long time. So they simply built this shelter, forced them to live in it, and they were not allowed to leave at will, but hundreds of years later, the building was of great use.

The church has been continuously restored and rebuilt from the 12th to the 19th centuries, and has so far shown a mix of Roman and Gothic architecture, so it is quite special and the interior is beautiful.

Toulon is a famous French military port and home to the Navy of the Republic of France. It has a long naval history. The naval museum here records the glory of the French Navy. There are many collections here, from wooden warships hundreds of years ago to the most advanced Nordwind cruisers in France, where you can see physical objects or models, absolutely a must for naval fans.
