Chinatown is not far from Manila Cathedral, about 15 minutes walk. The whole area is a bit old, the streets are narrow, and the environment is very ordinary. Except for the Chinese people, it is not a good place for shopping.

Rizal Park is a large scenic spot with a large green area behind the bronze statue. In addition to the bronze statue of Rizal, the place where he was buried is also preserved next to it. In addition to its commemorative value, it is also a famous local landmark.

The Cathedral of St. Augustine in Manila, Philippines, consists of two parts: the chapel and the monastery. The Baroque-style chapel is the architectural essence of the entire St. Augustine, while the monastery is a museum, which houses a large number of precious items such as vestments, golden chalices, silver crosses, ivory statues, silk cloaks embroidered with gold thread, and oil paintings. The focus of this article is the organ in the church, which is rare to see. As a world historical and cultural heritage, the Cathedral of St. Augustine has also experienced the destruction of war, and many precious collections have been lost in various wars. After the end of World War II, St. Augustine was rebuilt. The church and the first monastery have restored their appearance. In 1965, in order to commemorate the 400 years of the spread of Catholicism in the Philippines, St. Augustine exhibited photos of hundreds of churches built between the 16th and 19th centuries across the country, which gave rise to the idea of creating a museum. Since then, St. Augustine has continuously collected various precious cultural relics lost in various wars and displayed them in the monastery for the public to see. Today, St. Augustine is not only a church and a monastery, but also a museum that houses many Philippine and Spanish art treasures. It is an important place to display the historical and cultural treasures of the Philippines and is well worth visiting. I think a whole day is not enough.

Since I was staying in a nearby hotel, I walked here for 3 minutes after registering and had lunch on the way. Although it is a bit old, the mall is probably one of the larger shopping malls in the city. It has a complete range of food and entertainment options, and there are many choices to eat. It is a good place for shopping.

Art Museums

As a national museum, it is of course the most worthwhile museum to visit, and it is free to visit. Entering the gate is the oil painting area on the first floor. The influence of Catholicism is deeply imprinted in this country. Basically, there are paintings about Jesus, his birth, suffering, reincarnation, etc. Some exhibition halls are still a story line. Appreciating them in order is a classic work in the Bible. There are also some modern Philippine oil paintings on the first floor. You can see the dress, food, clothing, housing and transportation of the wealthy and dignitaries and politicians in the Philippines, which is very interesting. The second floor is more modern art. In addition to oil paintings, it is mainly artworks, crafts, primitive weapons, etc. There are also some pearl shell works, wood carvings, etc. There are some mineral specimens in the basement. Of course, as our close neighbors, Chinese elements in the museum are also indispensable.

Roxas Boulevard is a seaside boulevard in Metro Manila, Philippines, along the coast of Manila Bay, famous for its sunsets and coconut trees. The middle section of the road is Rizal Square, which can be said to be equivalent to Tiananmen Square in China, and this road can also be said to be Manila's "Chang'an Avenue". Roxas Boulevard is one of the landmarks of Philippine tourism. It is surrounded by yacht clubs, hotels, restaurants, commercial buildings and parks, as well as the Philippine "Zero Kilometer" sign. Visitors can take a horse-drawn carriage and slowly explore the streets.

Of course, there are a lot of fakes, but most of them look really good and will probably fool most casual shoppers. In my opinion, you can find the best deals between the main islands on this crowded little island. Bakit hindi. This market is definitely a great place for tourists who want to experience the real local city and culture, it has everything and great local street food. Some parts of the market are a bit crowded and dirty, but isn't that the real side of the Philippines? I've read some reviews online saying that it's unsafe and full of pickpockets. This is totally exaggerated! In fact, you will encounter the same problems when you go to any busy market in the world, you have to be more careful, such as not carrying a backpack. The people here are very warm and nice, they are willing to chat with you, and it doesn't feel strange at all. I think this market is a place that everyone who visits Manila should visit! By the way, when buying things, be careful of the fake goods here, such as watches and bags, don't be cheap!

From the outside, the church should be very historical, but the interior decoration has been replaced by modern style, especially the ceiling murals, like general paintings, lack a sense of history. Located in the district of Manila, the church is a rather beautiful church with a full mural on the ceiling and a garden foot square in front of the church.

The historical city hall of Manila has rich stories from the early Spanish settlement, to the American period and the Japanese occupation. A sit of city goverment, you can ask for tour of the building from the tourism office who will accommodate you around. Its always a busy place for people from all places, and traffic are heavy.
