#CaseStudy: Top Qırmızıda (Qırmızı Şənbə) The 10th edition of Baku Electronics’ groundbreaking #QırmızıŞənbə campaign was launched on September 3, 2024, under the bold slogan “Top Qırmızıda” - translated as “The Ball’s in Your Court.” As an umbrella campaign covering various partner brands, Qırmızı Şənbə has always set the bar high with its creative concepts and compelling offers. It’s a campaign series so impactful that it has often been imitated by others - the #TopQırmızıda edition, however, pushed the boundaries further, showcasing the power of listening to customer feedback and delivering tailored creative. How? For some time, customers had been asking for extra privileges such as extended campaign durations, bigger discounts, and more flexible credit terms. Baku Electronics listened and responded by turning those requests into reality. From here, the communication message was born: “You asked, we delivered. Now the ball’s in your court.” - inviting customers to take part in their favorite promo campaign. The creativity of the campaign was amplified by its extraordinary TVC, where a vibrant red ball - a nod to Baku Electronics’ color and the spirit of Qırmızı Şənbə - became the central storytelling device. Seamlessly transitioning between scenes, the ball symbolized connection, energy, and momentum. From a golf course to a basketball net, the journey of the ball captivated viewers, culminating in a CGI effect of a massive red ball atop a Baku Electronics store. Behind the scenes, Wemark played a central role in bringing this ambitious vision to life. From crafting the creative concept to designing all visual materials, producing TVC, managing digital advertising, and executing influencer marketing strategies, Wemark handled the campaign’s 360-degree strategy and execution. This included overseeing communication across all channels and ensuring seamless implementation, in close collaboration with Baku Electronics’ marketing team. With the TVC achieving 2.1 million views on Instagram and the campaign setting a new benchmark in customer engagement, Qırmızı Şənbə continues to redefine what’s possible in promo marketing. In each cycle, we create “mini-teams” of six to seven members and challenge them with real-world business tasks directly tied to our #360clients. Each team, guided by a Client Strategist with in-depth client knowledge, has a few weeks to research, strategize, and develop solutions. The program culminates in Presentation Day, where each team has 10 to 15 minutes to showcase their work. These presentations are an opportunity to display skills, creativity, and teamwork as well as to bond and grow. At the end, our leadership team evaluates each presentation and selects a winning team. What makes our mini-MBA even more rewarding is the focus on learning new topics each time. Every program begins with a training session on a core theme – this time, our CEO, Vugar Mehdiyev, introduced #DesignThinking, challenging teams to apply design thinking methodologies in their presentations. What are the major benefits of hybrid cars? They save you money (efficiency) and help protect the environment (eco-friendliness). Exactly these were the core points we spun around when tasked with designing a promotional campaign for #Grandeur and #Sonata hybrid models by Hyundai Azerbaijan. However, we wanted to go beyond these points and emphasize the "protection" aspect of hybrid vehicles. After a quick brainstorming session, we concluded that the most important protection is your health - both from danger and in terms of staying fit & healthy. So, we added the Push30 premium fitness package to help you stay fit and Casco Insurance for additional safety. All these resulted in a campaign we aptly named #HybridOffer - because it provides more than one benefit in a single package and perfectly boldens the keyword. Then the message translated seamlessly into our TV commercials, social media content, billboards, digital ads, and design materials. We even enhanced the campaign with influencer collaborations to reinforce the message. But we didn’t stop there. After analyzing the ongoing campaign results, we noticed that while customers were engaging with the ads and visiting the showrooms, they often requested additional discounts. To address this, we introduced a “choose your version” option, allowing customers to either opt for the Push30 & Casko package or simply receive a discount. The result? In Q3 of 2024, Hyundai Grandeur and Sonata Hybrid's market share in their respective E and D segments grew by 30% in average, compared to Q1! 😇 Most importantly, this campaign paved a way for even more successful campaigns in the future thanks to the invaluable experience and data.
