Barbados Trailway

Recreational Facilities

We are converting the old Barbados Railway reserve into an accessible pathway for pedestrians, runners and cyclists.

About us

The Barbados Trailway is a not-for-profit sustainable and equitable transportation development promoted by the Barbados Future Centre Trust. Phase 1 includes converting sections of the old Barbados Railway reserve into an accessible pathway for pedestrians, runners and cyclists, lined with fruit trees and palms, and benches and shelters at regular intervals. Phase 2 aims to create an island-wide network of cycling and walking trails that connects the main commercial and residential areas.
