At CDB’s "Expert Forum on Corruption in the Age of AI" on December 9, Mr Eugene Wu, Chief of the FBI’s International Corruption Unit, revealed that Regional authorities can now leverage powerful FBI tools to combat corruption, including: ✅ The Foreign Extortion Prevention Act (FEPA) which holds corrupt foreign officials accountable. ✅ Whistleblower Award Program that rewards individuals who provide information on corporate corruption. ✅ Transnational Anti-Corruption Partnership (TAP) which builds capacity & investigates cross-border corruption. ✅ The International Anti-Corruption Coordination Centre which provides global intelligence and asset recovery resources.
