Unilever Consumer Care experienced a significant 49 percent year-on-year drop in profit, falling to Tk 159 million in the third quarter ending in September this year, as sales sharply declined. This quarterly income marks the lowest in four years. Over the nine-month period through September, the multinational company’s profit decreased by 15.6 percent year-on-year, totaling Tk 572.45 million.
