The 3rd Annual Business Conference of DBL Pharmaceuticals Ltd., was held on 11th January, 2025, at Cox’s Bazar. It was a dynamic event that celebrated both achievements of 2024 and future aspirations for 2025. The Board of Directors including honorable Chairman Mr. Abdul Wahed; Managing Director, Mr. M. A. Jabbar; Deputy Managing Director, M.A. Quader (Anu), and distinguished guests from the corporate office and plant office were present on this grand occasion. The conference inspired the attendees with a renewed sense of hope, health and joy. The event concluded with a shared commitment to work together towards a common goal of serving people with quality medicines.

The launch of this latest store with Nike and Levi’s took place on 13th January at the heart of Dhanmondi 27, drawing a crowd of fashion and fitness enthusiasts alike. The launch was spearheaded by DBL Lifestyles Limited, the retail concern of DBL Group, which serves as the Franchise Partner for both Nike and Levi’s. This store has set a new benchmark in the local retail industry, promising an unparalleled shopping experience for customers in Dhanmondi. Guests were treated to an immersive shopping experience and exclusive product launches. The showroom features Nike’s latest performance gear and Levi’s timeless denim collections, providing a one-stop destination for quality and style. The event was graced by the presence of the Board of Directors of DBL Group, including Abdul Wahed, Chairman; M. A. Jabbar, Managing Director; M. A. Rahim, Vice Chairman; and M. A. Quader (Anu), Deputy Managing Director and Group CEO. Their collective vision and leadership have been instrumental in bringing this flagship store to life. 

Welcoming the New Year with joy and tradition at DBL Group! This year’s Pitha Utshab was held at the Corporate Office of DBL Group to celebrate the spirit of the New Year. M. A. Jabbar, Managing Director; M. A. Rahim, Vice Chairman; M. A. Quader Anu, Deputy Managing Director & Group CEO, along with other high officials, joined the festive occasion with all the Corporate Office employees.

Merry Christmas! Wishing you joy, love, and peace this festive season.

Facilitated by ESG Institute and UN Global Compact Network Bangladesh, a certified corporate course on the Foundation for ESG & Corporate Sustainability was held on 7 December 2024. The program had nearly 100 participants from RMG, financial institutions, FMCGs, universities, SMEs, and NGOs. Mashook Mujib Chowdhury participated as a resource person in the training program presenting on “Current Practices & Best Practices”. The other resource people included Khondkar Morshed Millat, Faculty Member, Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management; Ole Rosenborg Justesen, Senior Counsellor for Labour Rights & Decent Work, Embassy of Denmark in Dhaka; and Mabrur M. Chowdhury, Programme Manager, Global Compact Network Bangladesh. Mashook was also in the judging panel where he evaluated the case presentations by the participants.

M.A. Quader (Anu), Deputy Managing Director and Group CEO, DBL Group becomes the President of Gulshan Club Limited. His journey with this esteemed club began in 2004. He served as the Director of Finance in 2021-2022 and 2022-2023. In 2020-2021, he was elected to the Board of Directors, where he took on the responsibility of overseeing Entertainment. Earlier, from 2013 to 2019, he was in various Committees and Sub-Committees of the club including Budget & Planning, Security, Public Relation etc.

M. A. Jabbar, Managing Director, DBL group has been elected as the President of the BSIA, bringing with him a wealth of leadership experience from his prominent role in Neural Semiconductor Limited and DBL Group. His vision and drive are expected to play a pivotal role in advancing Bangladesh's growing semiconductor industry and aligning it with global technological trends.

On 14 December, 2024 DBL Group organized “Academic Career Path Counseling & Recognition of Meritorious Children of DBL Family-2024”. The children of the employees of DBL Group were felicitated for their brilliant result in SSC and HSC. Faculty members from 8 renowned public and private universities of Bangladesh were invited in the event to counsel the students and help them choose their future career. Managing Director of DBL Group Mr. M. A. Jabbar was the Chief Guest of the event where he expressed his expectations to continue such programs to motivate the children of DBL Family.
