Our three-day journey into the world of yoga and mindfulness kicked off with a warm welcome at Jamroll. Why do we need yoga and mindfulness in the office, you ask? Because we believe that a happier, healthier, and more harmonious office is just a downward dog away! The three-day retreat was a delightful mix of fun, relaxation, and a break from the grind. We finally closed the 100 tabs open in our minds and focused on the present to find a moment of peace. It was a stark reminder that a happy, healthy team is the secret ingredient to our success at Jamroll. A special thanks to Sasha Apu, who facilitated the session and helped us reconnect with our bodies and minds, making us feel more balanced and ready to tackle whatever comes our way. So the next time stress tries to get the best of us, we will remember to roll out that yoga mat, take a deep breath, and embrace the zen vibes.

This Tuesday, May 28th, we had the pleasure of organizing our monthly knowledge-sharing session at Jamroll Studio with a fantastic talk by our very own Senior UI/UX Designer, Rakibul H. Rocky. The session, titled "The Importance of Human-Centered Design," was both informative and inspiring. Our team members gained valuable insights into HCD and its implications in product design, learning how different global and local brands follow these principles to create user-centric products. A huge thank you to Rocky for facilitating such an engaging and educational session! We are excited to announce that this is just the beginning! Each month, we will continue to bring in experts from various fields and industries to share their knowledge and experiences with the Jamroll team. Our goal is to build the capacity of our team members, helping them thrive and excel in their work. A lively capacity-building session that's not full of boring textbooks or long lectures—Jamroll's first session of the year was full of laughter and learning. As we tackled our lessons on "Effective Communication," our amazing facilitator, Wahida Parvin Apu, kept us engaged throughout the session with her energy, lively tone, and beautiful storytelling approach. We once again thank you for being a part of this experience and for giving us the opportunity to listen and learn, to empathize, and to be mindful in both personal and professional spheres. Baskets full of happiness—it feels like Eid is already here! Eid might not guarantee salami in the family anymore, but at least Jamroll definitely understands its family full of young hearts.
