Towards zero emission road transport partnership (2Zero) is a co-programmed partnership between the European Commission and the private sector aiming at accelerating research, development and demonstration of technologies focusing on zero tailpipe emission road transport. With 99 industry and research members, the European Green Vehicles Initiative Association for 2Zero (EGVIAfor2Zero), representing the private side of the partnership, is delivering research topics recommendations for the Horizon Europe programme with the aim to accelerate the transition to a European carbon-neutral road transport system by 2050. The 2Zero Partnership joined forces with ERTRAC - European Road Transport Research Advisory Council and the CCAM Association (Partnership) to call out European decision-makers to be attentive to financial levers appropriate for European research and innovation in the next programme framework. Tools like the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model help foster collaboration and deliver concrete impacts for the benefit of the European economy, environment, and population. The next framework programme must provide the appropriate financial means to reach the policy objectives set for the road transport sector. Grâce à nos micro-véhicules électriques redistribuables, nous couvrons les zones périurbaines et rurales souvent mal desservies, pour une mobilité plus inclusive et durable. 🛠 Avec une innovation disruptive, protégée par 19 brevets, nous avons développé un système unique de redistribution groupée des véhicules, permettant de les acheminer là où ils sont nécessaires, au moment opportun. Today, on December 12th, an important milestone was reached for the 2Zero partnership. We signed our first Cooperation Working Arrangement (CWA) with Regione Piemonte (Italy), a region in which we have many active members: Stellantis, IVECO, Politecnico di Torino ... This agreement marks an important step in fostering collaboration and research innovation within the field of road transport decarbonisation. We are proud to be the first co-programmed partnership to formalise such an agreement 🥳.
