How to improve collection and sorting? With our Guidance! ♻️ 4evergreen is a cross-industry alliance of over 110 members representing the entire industry’s value chain. The goal? Reaching a 90% recycling rate for fibre-based packaging by 2030.  The Guidance is an essential tool that aims to help the implementation of future collection, sorting and recycling infrastructure to meet #EU legal requirements and reach 4evergreen's aim. Circularity starts from the design! ♻️ 4evergreen is a cross-industry alliance of over 110 members representing the entire industry’s value chain. The goal? The Circularity by Design Guideline provides #design recommendations for more easily recyclable fibre-based products requiring processing in standard or specialised mills. Yesterday, 4evergreen Chair Sarah Price spoke at the UNECE/FAO Forests event "Circularity Concepts in the Pulp and Paper Industry." The event focused on #circularity success stories, as well as challenges and future innovations for the pulp and paper sector. ♻️ Sarah gave an overview of the 4evergreen alliance, which, with over 110 members, is dedicated to achieving a 90% #recycling rate for fibre-based packaging in Europe by 2030. ♻️ Last but not least, PaperPack Online Community, submitted by Sappi, is the winner of this year's Project that enhances recycling processes.   Anna Oñate presented the Circularity Success Story at our Annual Conference, highlighting the platform's mission to connect fibre-based #packaging industry professionals. This community allows industry experts to network and accelerate collaborations for an even more #sustainable sector.   💡 It's not over for Circularity Success Stories! ♻️ Another day, another Circularity Success Story!   This year's "project that supports effective collection and sorting" winner is Avery Dennison's AD Circular.   It is an innovative program to recycle used paper and filmic label liners across Europe. This initiative simplifies the #recycling process, making it both cost-effective and convenient.
