💊📊 Addressing adherence challenges in clinical trials is a persistent call to action.   The results of Spruce Biosciences' CAHmelia-203 and CAHptain-205 studies, announced in 2024, bring to light a challenge that continues to resonate across clinical research: ensuring patient adherence to prescribed treatments. In these studies, compliance with study medications and glucocorticoids (GC) was suboptimal, with only around 50% of participants achieving 80% or greater compliance. This limited adherence affects directly tildacerfont exposure and, potentially, the outcomes of these trials. This situation reinforces an essential truth: patient adherence is critical, not only for accurate trial results but for better patient care overall. As we strive to improve treatment outcomes, addressing the adherence gap must remain a priority.
