After 20 years of dedicated service, I have decided to retire. It has been an immense privilege to work with each of you and to contribute to the smooth running and growth of your institutions. I would like to reassure you that the succession is assured. I am happy to inform you that, Nicolas Huylebroeck, a member of our great AEROCOM family since 2017, with solid experience in project management, has now taken over the leadership of our strong AEROCOM Belgium team since 1 September 2024. I am confident that, under his leadership, AEROCOM Belgium will continue to provide the same level of service and dedication as you have come to expect from us. Bart Neyns aan het UZ Brussel te steunen, bestond uit verschillende sportproeven waarbij ons team niet alleen heeft deelgenomen, maar ook heeft gewonnen. Een geweldige prestatie van ons toegewijde team. Een speciale dank gaat uit naar de organisatoren, vrijwilligers en alle andere teams die hebben deelgenomen. Congratulations! It's great that we can contribute by linking the new Cleanroom with the rest of the hospital via our AEROCOM pneumatic tube system.
🆕 Onze ziekenhuisapotheek opent een gloednieuwe cleanroom. Apotheekmedewerkers bereiden er alle geneesmiddelen voor de zorg en klinische studies volgens de strenge PIC/S-normering. 🏥 De cleanroom is 655m² groot en telt 9 isolatoren. Jaarlijks worden er 80.000 steriele preparaten bereid voor gebruik in de zorg en klinische studies. 👨⚕️ ‘Met de nieuwe cleanroom zijn we zeker dat de luchtdruk en temperatuur constant zijn en de luchtkwaliteit zeer hoog is. Zo verzekeren we de hoogste kwaliteit van het eindproduct’, vertelt Pieter Ramaut, adjunct-hoofdapotheker van de afdeling Productie. 🔬 ‘Bovendien laat de innovatieve infrastructuur ons toe om apotheekactiviteiten voor geneesmiddelenstudies verder te optimaliseren en uit te breiden,’ voegt Els Kestens, adjunct-hoofdapotheker van de afdeling Klinische studies, toe. ‘Er lopen op dit moment 600 studies met 3.500 bereidingen per jaar.’ 👀 Meer info via https://lnkd.in/ecCNUJXX. #uzgent #cleanroom #ziekenhuisapotheek

Good project management requires good alignment between all involved parties. This picture shows the enthusiastic technical team members of the organizations that are involved in the building, installation and testing of our first completely automated Drone Cargo Port in the second half of this year: Jan Yperman Ziekenhuis, DETOO ARCHITECTS, Avercon, Aerocom Belgium and Helicus. During this workshop, we discussed the different steps until the demonstration and aligned on technical topics. At the Helicus machine builder site we could also witness the first assembled DCP-modules. Together with e-BO Enterprises, Orange, HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen, KU Leuven Brugge and POM West-Vlaanderen, we foster the implementation of valuable #drone applications in the #healthcare through #5G technology.
