🌍 Today at the Ministry of Environment and Energy of Portugual (thanks Roland Strauss for bringing us here) Minister and Engineer Maria Da Graça Carvalho share Portugal’s "whole of government, whole of society" climate transition plan. It’s holistic, and sector specific. It’s science and evidence-based. It stresses the vital link between climate and nature. Listen to the Minister speak about why Portugal strongly supported the approval of the Nature Restoration Law—an essential step to protect our ecosystems, biodiversity and drive sustainable development. She outlines a clear, actionable vision for an integrated approach that addresses all emission sectors. Lesson to learn: aligning funding sources for a truly cohesive strategy and coherent management is key for effective action.
