As world leaders gather in Baku, a coalition of industry associations around the globe, led by the Hydrogen Council, is calling for urgent action to scale demand for clean hydrogen by 2030.   The Ammonia Energy Association is proud to be part of this coalition supporting the COP29 Hydrogen Declaration and putting the spotlight on the practical actions that can be taken by governments in the next 2 years to build a clean, secure, and affordable energy supply.   We are calling on governments to make a collective commitment to scale demand for clean hydrogen and its derivatives by 2030, underpinned by robust incentives and mandates.   The time for action is now! #lowcarbon fuels will play a crucial role, especially for the #decarbonisation of hard-to-abate industries. As such the draft delegated act on the methodology to determine GHG emission savings of low-carbon fuels will have a great importance in providing the certainty required for investments. Keeping production of low-carbon #ammonia in Europe is vital for the decarbonisation and resilience of European food, energy, maritime and industrial sectors outlined in the #Draghi report.
