Last week, I joined the KU Leuven Smart Start sessions, where Marko Topalovic shared his journey of successfully starting, building and exiting his KUL spin-off ArtiQ. He talked about pivoting during hard times (yes, covid was involved) and staying focused on execution. His story really highlighted how important it is to believe in yourself and your business, especially when times are tough. I also got to meet Yanti De Visser, who shared her amazing research on precision cancer medicine for brain tumors, potentially extending patients' lives. Yanti is a finalist for the Rising Researcher award in the Benelux, and she could use some support!
