🗣️ The new years event for colleagues included focusing on the 2025 objectives. Briefly and enthusiastically explained by Bernard Steverlynck. The short-term goals were very clear: throwing as many strikes and spares as possible and avoiding gutter balls.🎳 Whether everyone succeeded in this, we dare not say. What we do know for sure: everyone had a great evening! Throw some balls in the gutter next year, too? 👉 aspiravi.com/careers

🤝 Time to announce a new, prestigious partnership! 🤝 Borealis resolutely opts for renewable energy by annually purchasing 120 GWh (!) of locally produced green power from Aspiravi through a Power Purchase Agreement.⚡ Hence, the leading provider of advanced and sustainable polyolefin solutions takes a big step towards obtaining 100% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030. With this partnership, Aspiravi proves once again that it is the go-to partner for realizing the energy transition of energy-intensive companies. 🔗 Read the full press release and view all cases at www.aspiravi.com #PPA #PowerPurchaseAgreement #GreenEnergyforBusinesses #Energytransition #WindEnergy #RenewableEnergy
We’ve just signed a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with Aspiravi. Starting in 2026, Aspiravi will supply Borealis with 120 GWh of renewable energy annually, generated by 20 onshore wind turbines spread across eight wind parks in Belgium. This renewable energy will power our operations in Belgium and reduce our Scope 2 CO2 emissions by approximately 54,100 metric tons annually, taking us closer to our goal of sourcing 100% of our electricity from renewable sources by 2030. Time for one last look back at the past year. 👉 It was a particularly busy time at various construction sites, resulting in a major contribution to the various climate and renewable energy objectives, but also in these amazing images. ☀️ In spring, two new wind turbines were built in the cloverleaf of the E40/E403 highways in Oostkamp, and during the summer a wind turbine was installed along the E314 in Diest. 🍂 The list of new Belgian projects was completed in the fall with two new wind turbines each along the E313 in Bilzen and along the R4 in Evergem. 🌵 In addition, a fourth wind farm was built in Curacao, and the first two solar projects were completed in Spain. #EnergyTransition #RenewableEnergy #WindEnergy #SolarEnergy

💪 Realising the energy transition will only succeed if we have enough energy ourselves! At Aspiravi, no shortage of opportunities to activate and maintain the body and mind, because we all really value and appreciate it. 💚
🏋️♂️🤸♀️ Teamwork in Action! 🎉 During November and December, Aspiravi turned up the energy with a fantastic sports program for our employees! 💪 Thanks to the dedicated students from Howest Hogeschool—Wannes Salomé, Vince Van Volxem, Rune Vandenborre and lewis Vanthuyne—we enjoyed a variety of activities like core stability, foam rolling, ping pong, boxing, and even pickleball. 🏓🥊🏸 A big shoutout to our sporty colleagues who joined in and, of course, to the students for their enthusiasm and expertise. Together, we had fun, stayed active, and learned a lot. 👏 #TeamAspiravi #SportAndMovement #EmployeeWellbeing #Collaboration #ActiveLifestyle Joost Vansteenkiste

One of the most frequently asked questions we get: how do all those particularly large wind turbine parts get on site?🤔 The answer: with special, often overnight transports from, for example, the Port of Antwerp-Bruges.🚢 The wind turbine supplier is responsible for the route up to +/- 1 km from the site, the last part of the route is coordinated by our colleagues. They make meticulous transportation simulations and plan any necessary (temporary) adjustments to the traffic infrastructure, such as opening up roundabouts, sealing ditches and constructing special freeway exits.↗️ 📏 Every time it's a venture - especially with the ever-growing wind turbine parts - as you can see in these great photos taken earlier this year during the delivery of the large parts of the new wind farm in Evergem. #WindEnergy #RenewableEnergy #EnergyTransition

📹 We look back at the beginning of October, when we welcomed more than 1,500 visitors during Voka Open Bedrijvendag in Bilzen! The visitors returned home with a fantastic experience, a lot of information and a little Limburg win(d)t turbine.👋 We returned home with the satisfaction of informing and enthusing local residents about our projects. The wind turbines in Bilzen have been viewed by many. Later this year, they will start producing green energy for almost 7,500 families/year and avoiding 12,400 tonnes of co2/year. 💚 #WindEnergy #RenewableEnergy #EnergyTransition
