Today, E-Mobility Europe joined ChargeUp Europe and CEOs from from the charging infrastructure industry, as well as other members like Uber, to call for: ⚡ Staying the course on zero emission #targets: The whole electric vehicle ecosystem needs predictability and consistency from the EU’s #CO2 limits for 2025 and beyond. Let’s confirm this trajectory and not step back from it! ⚡ Focusing on demand: We can reach our shared goals through EU and Member State action to stimulate a healthy #EV markets. We’re thrilled to announce Volvo Cars as E-Mobility Europe’s first new member since our brand relaunch last week! 🎉 🤝 It will be fantastic working with a real European #electrification frontrunner, with a strong industrial footprint in the EU, including manufacturing plants in Sweden, Belgium and Slovakia, on the development of policies that encourage the widespread adoption of #ElectricVehicles across Europe. 🇪🇺 ⚡ Volvo Cars has five electric cars in production and five more in development, with electrification a key pillar of its product strategy. 🚗 Our ambition is for E-Mobility Europe to be the representative voice that brings together all champions across Europe’s #emobility ecosystem around a proactive policy agenda. This is a great first step towards that goal. 💯 Now we have exciting work ahead together on the EU’s automotive action plan, Clean Industrial Deal, and more. ✏️ Welcome on board, Volvo Cars! 🙏

Starting off our rebrand with a bang! 💫 We had the pleasure of welcoming 140 friends to Autoworld to Autoworld Museum Brussels. Here, Secretary General Chris Heron and President Maciej Mazur officially “charged up” our new brand reveal (thank you to our member Alfen for lending us their charger!), bidding farewell to AVERE and welcoming E-Mobility Europe. 💯 🔌 ⚡ Discussing the e-mobility landscape: we had the immense honour to sit down with Magda Kopczynska, Julia Poliscanova (she/her), Sigrid de Vries and Céline Domecq to discuss challenges, opportunities and needs for the sector. While views differed on the Europe’s #CO2 limits for 2025 and beyond, several key messages came from the debate: ✅ We need to reaffirm the importance of the automotive sector for Europe with more urgency, underlining its potential in innovation, economic growth, and for the green transition.  ✅ We need to shift our focus on enabling conditions, including more support and incentives.  ✅ The industry needs more investments, including a serious look at how to upscale battery production in Europe.  ✅ Finally, Europe needs an inward analysis, something that both the Strategic Dialogue on the Future of the Automotive Sector and the Automotive Action Plan can drive forward. Let’s make it happen! ⭐ Thank you to everyone who participated (online and offline), it is clear that the e-mobility ecosystem needs to cooperate in order to make necessary and sustainable changes! We look forward to continuing this drive with you! 🙏
