🌍 EXATECH at WCIT 2024: Exploring Global Tech Innovation within Armenia’s Thriving Ecosystem 🌍 At EXATECH, we are dedicated to bridging local expertise with global innovation, always seeking fresh perspectives in technology. This mission recently took our Co-founder, Axel Yaghi, to WCIT 2024 / DigiTec in Yerevan, Armenia—a dynamic hub of technological advancement and cultural exchange. Axel’s experience at WCIT was truly eye-opening. He attended presentations from industry leaders like Rev Lebaredian , Vice President of Omniverse and Simulation Technology at NVIDIA, who elaborated on the next wave of AI, and Professor Benoit Macq , leading the research team at PiLab, who shared groundbreaking insights on the use of AI in predictive medical cancer treatment. A highlight of his trip was visiting Armenia’s 🦄 unicorn companies, Picsart and ServiceTitan, where he met professionals driving tech advancements from Yerevan. During his four-day trip, Axel also witnessed Armenia’s investment in tech talent through initiatives like the Tumo Center for Creative Technologies and Armath Engineering Makerspaces , which provide hands-on learning to foster creativity and technical skills among young innovators, underscoring Armenia’s long-term tech vision. This journey solidified our belief in the importance of international collaboration and the incredible potential global partnerships hold for the future of AI and technology worldwide. We recently welcomed Ambassador of Belgium to Armenia Eric De Muynck and a delegation from Belgium at the FAST Creative Campus. The visit, organized by the Belgian Armenian Chamber of Commerce, brought together representatives from academia, the startup ecosystem, and industry. During the visit, we had the opportunity to present our key initiatives, including the Generation AI High School Project, while also exploring the projects our guests are currently working on.
