About us

Beyers Coffee, with roots going back to 1880, produces and distributes a wide assortment of coffee products (coffee, espresso, pads, capsules, machines, etc.) under private label as well as under the brands Beyers, Fort and Kimbo. Beyers has grown exponentially over the past two decades. Its acquisition of Fort coffee (Belgium) and EP Leidsche (the Netherlands) in 2004 and the opening of Beyers GmbH (Germany) in 2016 allowed the company to strengthen its position on both the Belgian and Northern European retail and out-of-home market, especially as a private label manufacturer. At the start of 2012, Beyers installed a state-of-the-art coffee roaster, which allows for the development of new products and further reductions in energy consumption. The investments accord perfectly with the company’s commitment to quality and sustainability. In addition, Beyers calculated its organizational carbon footprint and offers coffee products which are produced climate neutral over the entire value chain, from the plantation to the clients' warehouse. In the first half of 2018 Beyers acquires Fitform, a coffee capsule packing company in Italy and continues it's activities under the name of Beyers Caffè Italia. With this Acquisition Beyers is able to strengthen its position in the growing capsule market. Beyers Coffee employs about 167 people and realized a turnover of around 87 million euro in 2017.

  • Gender-based violence (GBV) remains a pervasive issue worldwide, and in coffee-growing regions – where #women carry out as much as 70% of physical labor on farms yet often face marginalization – the need for action to address the root causes of gender inequality and GBV is critical.     As part of UN's 16 Days of Activism against GBV (Nov 25 to Dec 10), we want to reinforce our commitment to promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment 💪 through our #CaringforPeople sustainability pillar and Sucafina #IMPACT Program. In 2023, we developed a comprehensive gender strategy focusing on: ♀ Gender mainstreaming: ensuring all our programs and projects are gender-inclusive and gender-responsive.  ♀ Gender transformation: addressing social norms and promoting positive attitudes towards gender equality.  ♀ Women’s economic empowerment: supporting women’s development to boost income and improve livelihoods. Get in touch to know more about how we’re advancing gender equality in our supply chains.

#bnppff #wearefactor #seminar

  • We’re proud to announce that Sucafina has submitted a commitment letter to the Science Based Targets initiative, marking a significant milestone in our efforts to reduce our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across the Group. 🌱 🌍 Reducing emissions has long been a priority for us. It’s a key focus of our #ProtectingOurPlanet sustainability pillar and our IMPACT responsible sourcing program. 🙌 Signing the SBTi letter is an important step on this journey. As part of the process, we developed a Carbon Action Plan that outlines our total GHG inventory for 2023 and sets out the main climate-related risks and opportunities that we face. In the coming months, our next priorities are to set specific GHG targets and prepare a robust reporting framework. 👉 Reach out to your Key Account Manager or message us to find out how we can help you meet your targets. Stay tuned for updates as we move forward!

  • 💦 Conserve #waterresources, 🏭 reduce #carbonemissions, 🌳 prevent #deforestation in our supply chains. These are the main goals of our third sustainability pillar: Protecting our Planet 🌍 Having boots on the ground in many origin countries means that our colleagues can work closely with local communities to identify and implement much needed projects. Check below 👇 some examples of how we're actively Protecting Our Planet all the way from Vietnam, to East Africa and Colombia or download our 2023 Sustainability Report for more details: https://lnkd.in/eGk9z-2K

  • 🙌 Big shout-out to our colleague, Filip Top! On September 25, at around 5:30 am, Filip reached the summit of Manaslu, in the Nepalese Himalayas, which stands at an incredible 8,163 meter. 🏔    This expedition wasn’t just about conquering one of the highest peaks in the world; it was a journey driven by purpose and determination. The climb was dedicated to supporting Shangrila Home, an Antwerp-based non-profit dedicated to providing a safe space and opportunities for over 100 children in Nepal. Through his efforts, Filip has truly embodied our purpose: creating opportunities to improve lives.    Congratulations, Filip, for reaching new heights and inspiring us all along the way! #beyerscoffee #beyerskoffie

  • Our 2030 Sustainability Strategy was developed by a cross-functional team that collected extensive feedback from key stakeholders to understand their perception of our environmental and social impacts and the critical issues faced by our industry.   The feedback was then distilled into three key action pillars: ‘Investing in Farmers’, ‘Caring for People’, and ‘Protecting Our Planet’. 👨🌾 #InvestingInFarmers is the first pillar you'll find while reading Beyers' 2023 Sustainability Report, alongside some practical examples of how we've been working towards implementing it in Rwanda, Tanzania and Papua New Guinea.   Read more about these three projects below or follow the link to download the full report: https://lnkd.in/eGk9z-2K #beyerskoffie #beyers #sustainablecoffee #sustainabilityreport
