With her experience in data integration, streaming, ETL design, and end-to-end data science pipelines, she is able to bring a fresh perspective and a constant passion for innovation to the tech world, fueled by her analytical and problem-solving skills developed throughout her career.  Soon after becoming a part of Big Industries in 2021, Morad earned his AWS Certified Developer Certification. While working on a data engineering project for his client, he utilized technologies such as NiFi and dbt. Databricks Community Edition is a cloud-based version of the Databricks platform tailored for learning, experimentation, and small-scale projects. It provides a simplified workspace where you can write code in Python, Scala, SQL, or R and collaborate with others. It is free, however it comes with certain constraints compared to the full Databricks platform with enterprise grade functionality.

At Big Industries we make use of GeoServer/GeoMesa to visualize/persist large volumes of geospatial data. Rather than developing their own data processing tools from scratch and selling this as a licensed black box, GeoMesa provides a set of libraries that allows users to leverage some of the most reliable tools on the market for big data processing, including Hbase, Spark, Cassandra, Redis, and Kafka. As these tools continuously evolve, GeoMesa’s releases keep up with the latest developments.
