One of the Brusselle service engineers wrapped up commissioning a stunning set of 𝑫𝑵𝑽-𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒆𝒅 anchor mooring winches on board a beautiful cruise vessel in Greece. 🌅 The new "Brusselle make" electric winches are now ready to withstand the open seas with 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚. 🔧 Thorough Testing for Reliable Performance ⚙️ One of the refurbished 𝐜𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 is being tested at 𝟐𝟕𝟎 𝐛𝐚𝐫 — 1.5 times the maximum working pressure. With a 1300mm stroke 📏, a 180mm piston, and a 125mm piston rod in 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 42CrMo4, this spare cylinder will support the 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐞𝐚𝐫 on board large dredging vessels. Thanks to precise testing, we’re confident it will keep vessels on course 🧭. 👉 That moment again! ⚓️ It's how our service engineers feel when the anchor chain runs smoothly over the 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥. ⚙️ Last week, our service team worked around the clock in Greece, onboard a cruise ship, to fully overhaul 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 and get them operational again for the coming decades. ⏱️ It was a big 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 to complete all the overhaul work within the 𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐝𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞, but thanks to punctilious preparation, the right tools, precise planning, and above all, the 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 of the Brusselle colleagues, we made it happen once again! 👏 #brusselle #teamwork #service #overhaul #anchorwinches #windlass #winches

🚢 **New Winches Under Construction!** 🛠️ Two robust Brusselle anchor winches are well underway! 🎉 🔧 **What's been done so far:** - 𝐆𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐱 assembled with precision-engineered gears by our Brusselle engineering team. - 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥 mounted - 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 securely fixed on the main shaft end. - 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 are currently being mounted, flange-fitted on the gearbox. 🗓️ These winches, along with their 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐱𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐬, are scheduled for delivery at the beginning of September.
