Opening a new shop is a whole list of things: exciting, daunting, fulfilling, interesting, challenging, confirming and so many more "-ings". In this case, it was also dancing, talking, admiring, laughing, singing and eating. One week ago our newest Café Costume boutique opened in the heart of Limburg, Hasselt. We tapped into local talent which, unsurprisingly, was not in short supply. Our neighbours at Ogst Deli, made sure no one left hungry (and in some cases even arrived well-fed). The Limburg based brewery Brouwerij Kompel supplied the necessary barley and hops. Wines were elegantly served in cans by Djuce Wines, sporting beautiful imagery by artist with roots in Limburg. Said artists also featured on an exclusive collection of suit covers. The first 100 CC Hasselt clients will receive one of these printed suit covers. This way, Café Costume clients can take home a piece by Marylène Madou, Brecht Evens, Tom Van der Borght, Jorden Boulet or Kristof Vrancken, along with their personalised Café Costume garments. The whole boutique has been given a gorgeous layout, stunning elements and a inviting, warm look by the established AE studio. The duo of Arno Broeckhoven and Ellen Van Laer has added CC Hasselt to their long list of other Café Costume interiors we've been proud to unveil. Finally, a party is not a party without the right tunes. Both our very own Jannes Brinkmann and the exemplary Charlotte Gesquiere of Lola Lacost made sure to bring the vibe. With a start like this the future is looking bright!

Another CC Tailor joins the ranks of Master Tailor in our store. In her second year of tailoring, Tilde Morlion took on the mantle of Shop Manager. A strong feat in itself, but she filled those shoes swiftly and effectively. It comes as no surprise she can be relied upon to advise and instruct new tailors, on all matters shop, size and suits!
