🏃♀️🛹🏋️🏊♀️ For the past 11 weeks, people in Stad Genk were asked about what motivates them to exercise in various locations in the city’s different districts. 🗳️ More than 475 people completed the survey across these location. Even as weather conditions became less favourable. Gemeente Den Haag en Stichting Atrium City Hall voeren voor het eerst innovatief onderzoek uit naar bezoekersgedrag bij tentoonstellingen in het Atrium van het Stadhuis. Met geavanceerde sensoren van Husense wordt bijgehouden hoeveel bezoekers dagelijks langs de tentoonstellingen lopen en hoeveel er daadwerkelijk blijven staan om te kijken. Last week another edition of Smart City Expo World Congress flew by! Great to see many familiar faces and meet lots of new people working on making cities across the world more livable. A special shout out to our Innovation Zone neighbours and fellow pitchers! Thanks to PSi, Act4City, findspo and also to John Biggs for hosting our session! Citizen Dialog Kit (CDK) introduceert innovatieve draadloze beeldschermen, gebaseerd op meer dan 10 jaar academisch onderzoek. Hiermee kunnen inwoners en bezoekers heel toegankelijk worden bevraagd, meteen op de relevante fysieke plek. Ideaal dus voor proefopstellingen en allerhande andere mobiliteitsveranderingen. Het doel van CDK is om burgerparticipatie inclusiever en effectiever te maken. Hiermee behaalt doorgaans meer dan dubbel zo veel deelnames dan gelijklopende online bevragingen. Zo levert het waardevolle inzichten op voor #mobiliteit, maar ook #stadsplanning, toerisme en andere publieke initiatieven. Deze publieke beeldschermen, die eenvoudig te installeren en te onderhouden zijn, worden geplaatst in openbare ruimtes en stellen mensen in staat om in meerdere talen vragen te beantwoorden. Er is geen registratieproces. Elke voorbijganger kan onmiddellijk reageren, zonder obstakels. Zo kan u niet alleen eenvoudig meningen verzamelen, maar ook een profiel opbouwen van de mobiliteitsgewoonten en noden van burgers. Deze inzichten zijn cruciaal voor een gedragen #mobiliteitsplan. 📣 First deployment in a new country!! Last week we traveled to Strasbourg to launch our very first project in France 🇫🇷. 📈 Now, only one week in, we've already engaged over 270 people! Le Citizen Dialog Kit est un boîtier d'enquête spécialement conçu pour l'espace public, permettant de mener des consultations citoyennes dans des lieux stratégiques. C'était évident, mais encore fallait-il y penser : quoi de mieux que de recueillir l'avis des personnes concernées, directement là où elles vivent ou interagissent avec le sujet en question ? 🥨 A Strasbourg, vous pourrez découvrir les boitiers tout au long de la route d'Oberhausbergen du 1er au 21 octobre, dans le cadre de la consultation en cours pour son futur réaménagément, puis dans quelques jours sur un autre sujet #teasing 🙏 Ceci a été possible grâce à l'œil de lynx de Caroline ZORN et Jacqueline Haessig qui ont repéré cette superbe innovation au salon Smart City Expo à Barcelone l'an dernier !
