What an incredible day at Citymesh’ workshop on the applications of 4G and 5G in healthcare! It was a privilege to host healthcare professionals at Auberge du Pêcheur and dive into the ways mobile networks are shaping the future of hospitals. A huge thank you to our expert speakers for sharing their insights: - Mitch De Geest kicked off the event by introducing Citymesh and our role as a leading MPN provider - Jens Buysse presented real-world use cases, including some exciting projects - Senne Van Loon discussed the technical aspects of MPN integration into hospital infrastructures - Björn De Gloire covered the integration of MPN with PABX & patient call/alarming systems - Matthias Tommelein explored the shift from smart cities to smart hospitals and why hospitals need their own MPN. Milestone Achieved: 300+ Hours of Successful BVLOS Drone Flights! 🚁 Our Citymesh Safety Drones Team has surpassed 300 hours of successful BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) flights using the Nokia Drone-in-a-Box solution — equivalent to 1,475 flights and counting! This achievement highlights the growing impact of autonomous drones in enhancing situational awareness and emergency response. A major focus has been our collaboration with fire services across Belgium. In 2024, our drones have assisted in 303 fire interventions, with December marking a record month of 65 emergency flights.
