Cluster Smart Building

Running a cluster also means introducing the Smart Building concept to people from other backgrounds who have very different concerns. At the initiative of Embuild Vlaanderen and Vlaanderen Circulaire, we made the link between Smart and Circularity for nearly 250 participants at the Community Event circulair bouwen on this 10 December. The concept of smart building was introduced. Smart City World Expo Barcelona 2025 A huge conference bringing together active Smart City players from around the world.   An inaugural plenary session with high-level guests from all over the world giving their approach and that of their community on Smart Cities. Highlighting the need for our cities to be resilient to face of the challenges ahead (changes in society, climate change, etc.).   Information sessions organized on various themes: ·       Enabling Technologies ·       Energy & Environment ·       Mobility ·       Governance & Economy ·       Living & Inclusion ·       Infrastructure & Buildings ·       Blue Economy   If starting from scratch to build smart buildings seems easy, the challenge is how to make existing infrastructures and buildings intelligent and smart. The speed at which technology develops also seems to be much faster than the speed at which political decisions are taken and Smart is implemented in our society, which is a hindrance. It also emerged from the discussions that the challenges of Smart Cities and Smart Buildings are similar, but that the approach is different because of the diversity and the larger number of players involved in smart cities. A visit to the Belgian pavilion, where a wide range of Belgian players were present (network management, lighting, social communities, BIM players, etc.). https://lnkd.in/etgzQsei
