Yesterday DigiTribe attended the annual CIO of the Year Awards, organized for the first time in #Antwerp. It was a fantastic evening with valuable insights on #AI and #Cybersecurity in the preliminary break-out tracks, followed by a wonderful awards ceremony ultimately celebrating Antonietta Mastroianni of Proximus Group as #CIOOTY. Congratulations! It’s been a big week in telecommunications! Kudos to event organiser Roularta Media Group and Data News chief Kristof Van der Stadt.

Yet, the EU's PSD2 Directive defied this perception, paving the way for non-bank players to disrupt the finance industry and drive innovation in #fintech. Thomas Bayart, fintech expert and long-time #ambassador for DigiTribe, believes that Europe may be on the cusp of turning the tide in the fintech space. Until recently, developing a framework could take up to 36 hours of research and training. Today, with #artificialintelligence, this can be achieved in just 4-5 hours. Our ambassador Azzeddine MELLOUK confirms that integrating #AI into testing processes brings substantial efficiency and #productivity gains, with time savings reaching 25% in the execution phase, which is the most complex part of #softwaretesting. While AI automates repetitive tasks, human testers now have more time to focus on validation, enhancing the overall #quality of the work.
