🔹 Behind the Scenes of RAG Applications: Integrating Vector Search with the MuleSoft AI Chain (MAC) Connector 🔹 A demo by Jovana Vujanić This project leverages advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to develop a powerful knowledge retrieval application, showcasing two key use cases in App Smith. The application integrates knowledge data from two distinct sources: 1. Crawling the UK Tenders Website: Using the MAC Web Crawler Connector, it systematically imports information from UK government tenders. 2. Importing Product Manuals: Leveraging the MAC Vectors Connector, product manuals are imported as PDFs. Data is stored in a PostgreSQL vector database hosted on Azure Cosmos DB, where it’s efficiently organised for semantic search. This setup enables dynamic retrieval of information that’s enriched using OpenAI’s Large Language Models (via the MAC AI Connector) to generate accurate, contextually relevant answers.
