On the road with Jennifer: a behind-the-scenes look at DPD's Christmas rush The holiday season is in full swing, and it’s the busiest time of the year for our depots. Krant van West-Vlaanderen visited our Aalter depot to experience the Christmas rush firsthand. They spoke with depot manager Tom Schoonjans and followed Jennifer Lambert, one of our dedicated drivers, for a day. The result? A wonderful article showcasing the incredible efforts of our drivers and how each parcel is delivered with care. Jennifer, who has been with us for nearly seven years, demonstrates the importance of teamwork and dedication during this busy season. The importance of giving 🌍 At Geopost, giving back to local communities and those in need is a key part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility, not only during the festive season but throughout the year. Our efforts span various initiatives, from supporting local charities to engaging in community projects. Business units such as DPD Czech Republic are making their own individual contributions with initiatives such as harvesting honey from beehives at their Modletice depot. Elsewhere in Europe, DPD Nederland delivered over 5,000 parcels to seriously ill and underprivileged children and DPD UK has now funded 73 Variety coaches for schools with additional support needs. DPD Ireland has jointly funded the country’s first accessible centre for water sports, enabling people with physical and intellectual disabilities the opportunity to fully enjoy angling, power boating, sailing and more for the first time. 68 CitySprint colleagues also supported the Make-A-Wish® UK Foundation by sharing a 1,665-mile cargo bike ride that called at each of the company’s UK sites, raising over £50,000 to help grant life-changing wishes for critically ill children. SEUR and Boluda Lines partnered with Hummel to deliver 9,658 sports garments to children at a football academy in Senegal. DPD France supported the RoseUp Association, a charity for women affected by cancer, by collecting and delivering 2,886 parcels of the charity’s magazine to hospitals and oncology centres nationwide. Additionally, 15 employees participated in a running event, raising €3,000 for RoseUp. Here are a few examples of the community initiatives Geopost and its business units engage in, demonstrating our commitment to social responsibility.

Strengthening Partnerships for a Sustainable Future We recently had the honour of welcoming DG GROW (Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs) to our DPD (Belgium) NV/SA Hub. Their visit provided a valuable platform to exchange perspectives on the evolving challenges and innovations shaping the delivery ecosystem. Discussions were lively, dynamic and forward-looking. We covered our sustainability initiatives, such as our Carbon Calculator and our 2040 net-zero commitment. We also explored how we meet the needs of both e-shoppers and SMEs. Our Market Research Director Carmen Cureu presented the e-shoppers and SME barometers, highlighting the different expectations in e-commerce today. Consumers prioritise affordability and environmental options, while SMEs expect reliability and control over carriers. Thank you to DG GROW for this enriching exchange!
