🔋 EFIEES advocates for a more resilient EU energy security architecture! 💡 As energy crises and geopolitical tensions reshape our landscape, it’s crucial to rethink how the EU secures its energy future. At EFIEES, we believe the focus must shift from just supply-side measures to a comprehensive strategy that also includes demand-side solutions and energy efficiency. Demand-side solutions are pivotal to use less energy over time, while efficient district heating & cooling networks contribute to a more resilient and integrated EU energy system 🔌 By optimising existing infrastructure like efficient district heating & cooling (EDHC) and using local resources, including renewable energy and waste heat recovery, we can reduce energy imports, enhance flexibility, and ensure a more robust and sustainable energy system for all Europeans. 🌍 Energy management and demand-side solutions should become a key pillar of EU energy security, alongside supply-side measures to decarbonise and diversify energy sources. After all, the energy we don’t use is the safest and cleanest.🔌 Read more about our position and why demand-side measures are key to securing Europe’s energy future: https://shorturl.at/Fu5Z2 #EnergySecurity #EnergyEfficiency #SustainableEnergy #GreenTransition z
