ENS-YGN is a vibrant network connecting all Nuclear Young Generation Networks over Europe.

About us

In 1995, one idea motivated young professionals in the nuclear industry to get together and initiate national nuclear young societies and finally create an umbrella organisation, representing all young voices in Europe. The ENS-YGN (European Nuclear Society Young Generation Network) was formed. Spreading the word and the motivation brings us to where we are right now: A collaboration of 20 European Young Nuclear Generations which are motivated regardless of the differences in the national nuclear industry: connecting, sharing experiences, and representing the national youth. Our objectives are: - Exchange of knowledge between the older and younger generation. - Formation of a YGN in every European country with a nuclear sector. - Participation of young people in the national nuclear societies, particularly in leadership positions. - Bringing together all the national YGNs at the European level. - Opening up topical seminars, conferences, and other technical meetings to young people. - Adapting the agendas to reflect the needs of young people and to ensure a proper transfer of skills. - Organising relevant seminars and topical meetings which are specifically aimed at young people. ENS YGN, together with the ENS and a host country, organises a biannual conference, the European Nuclear Young Generation Forum (ENYGF). Until today the ENYGF was held in the following countries: 2005 Zagreb, Croatia 2007 Amsterdam, Netherlands 2009 Cordoba, Spain 2011 Prag, Czech Republic 2013 Stockholm, Sweden 2015 Paris, France 2017 Manchester, UK 2019 Gent, Belgium 2021 Tarragona, Spain 2023 Krakow, Poland
