🎉 The report of the 15th edition of ESNsurvey is OUT! 🎉 As one of the biggest organisations representing the students' voices, we have gathered approximately 23,000 responses to bring the students' perspective on international mobility to the table. This edition of ESNsurvey examines key aspects of the student journey—before, during, and after mobility—covering preparation, support, costs, and study recognition. It addresses themes like Erasmus+ priorities, European Universities Alliances, inclusion, diversity, and digital learning. As we look towards the future, the XV edition of the ESNsurvey emphasises the importance of making mobility accessible and beneficial for all, reinforcing the idea that quality mobility is achievable when student voices are at the forefront of policy development. 🔗 Read more about the ESNsurvey research project and check out the final report of the ESNsurvey XV: https://lnkd.in/eKFYGH86 #ESNsurvey #research #report #qualitymobility #studentmobility

After the negotiations between the Council and the Parliament, and potential cuts, we are happy to see the Erasmus+ budget for 2025 was increased by €600 million and now accounts for €4,95 billion! However, if we look at the sustainability and further development of the #ErasmusPlus programme, the budget should be increased 5 times more to ensure its continuation and to reach every young person in the EU, as emphasised by Mario Draghi. For the 2028-2034 Multiannual Financial Framework, a substantial budget increase is critical to meet the growing demands of existing target groups without compromising the quality of support already provided, to maintain the same number of mobilities expected in 2027, and to address new priorities, such as the #EuropeanUniversityAlliances and the potential implementation of the #EuropeanDegree. We celebrate this step forward for today and continue to work towards #mobility for all for tomorrow!

How to make the most of international mobility? Studying or interning abroad is a great opportunity, and to get the most out of it, it is important to go beyond academic studies. Engaging in various activities can help students or recent graduates improve multiple skills. Volunteering with a local association can deepen connections to the community. Connecting with locals outside of the Erasmus+ group helps in the integration. Enrolling in a language course enhances communication skills. Getting involved in extracurricular activities adds another dimension to the experience. And you? Do you have any other other activities which you believe can complement an exchange and improve the experience.
