🌟 ESPORG at the NAPCORE - Mobility Data Days 2024 in Turin 🌟 We are thrilled to share that ESPORG is currently participating in the NAPCORE - Mobility Data Days 2024 in the beautiful city of Turin! Our General Manager, Dirk Penasse, is taking part in a highly relevant panel discussion titled "Ensuring Quality Parking Data on NAPs." Dirk is joined by a distinguished lineup of industry experts, including: - Frank Daems, Founder of EdelWISE BV and Senior Manager for Connected Automated Driving at ERTICO - ITS Europe - Nigel Williams, President of the European Parking Association (EPA) - Laura Babio, Traffic Efficiency Cluster Lead and Just Transition Co-Coordinator at POLIS - Emmanuel de Verdalle, Technical Expert in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) - Markus Schneider, Owner of Plexx Digital and APDS The session is being brilliantly moderated by Marinda Hall, ensuring a dynamic and engaging dialogue. Today’s discussion is providing an update on the cooperation agreement between the EPA and NAPCORE, with a special focus on aligning common functional profiles. Participants are delving into the roadmap for parking data publications on NAPs, a critical aspect of improving parking services across Europe. In the second part of the session, the conversation shifts to secure parking, highlighting the Safe and Secure Truck Parking (SSTP) delegated regulation 885/2013 and the essential role that NAPs play in this framework. Hoy hemos estado presentes en una jornada técnica en el Ministerio de Transportes y Movilidad Sostenible para conocer mejor y poner en común todo lo relativo a la certificación #SSTPA - Secure and Safety Trucks Parking Areas. De la mano de ESPORG vzw hemos conocido los resultados de los trabajos de diagnóstico que se vienen haciendo, y hemos aportado nuestra opinión y experiencia respecto a cuestiones como la regulación, seguridad, condiciones de prestación de servicios, estandarización y digitalización de la información, procedimientos de certificación, demanda o casos de éxito. Seguimos trabajando para poner a disposición del sector del transporte las instalaciones que cumplan los estándares que garanticen las mejores condiciones, tanto para las empresas usuarias como para los transportistas.

🚛 ESPORG's Feedback on the CEF 2021-2027 Interim Evaluation 🌍 At ESPORG, we represent parking area operators across the EU, promoting safety, security, and sustainability for truck drivers. Through the CEF2 programme, many safe and secure parking projects have been realized, but more are needed to meet growing demand and comply with EU regulations like TEN-T and AFIR.
